Hogs & Heifers owner Michelle Dell confirmed Tuesday morning plans for a pop-up saloon to open at Plaza in January.

I know Hogs and Heifers had many fans, but I personally never made it across the threshold due to the noise level. I don’t know how that vibe will mesh with the open windows into the casino. I will miss the Sand Dollar and the opportunity to play bar top VP with a decent crafted cocktail in a dark and quiet bar. Maybe I can talk them out of one more Old Fashioned before they close.
