Here's one sure to piss you off.

I was vacationing in Monterey and had a 6:00 A.M. tee time at Pebble Beach. The night before I tried to drink every CC and 7 in town.

I could not get out of bed and missed the foursome.

Never got another chance to play there.

Down to 25 degrees last night. Clubs heading for the basement today. I'm sure we'll have some warm days yet, but I'm done for the year.

Now before Ken can make a snide comment...yes, I knew what we were moving back to and I'm not complaining.

So far I am successfully dodging work today. If I can make it a couple more hours crisis free I am going to do the same!

    Enjoy Pal!

Still waiting for the over seed season to end.
Every year, perfect weather and half the courses are closed and the other half are CP only.:grrr:

Ditto on the great weather. It seems like it is 82 every day in Northern Calif. Going out Friday with the boys.
We will be in LV superbowl weekend. Every year we go the weather has been great for golf. Any recommendations for a course in the $60 - $80 range. We have a car. We have done the Legacy and LV national(nice and close). They were both nice.

Well, for those of us here along the central coast, this is THE time of year. Warm days, winds drop down, just wish we weren't losing old Sol. And we don't overseed.

Tahoejoe, check out Boulder Creek. 85 bucks after 11. Higher-end golf at, for Vegas, lower-end prices.

Tomorrow for me. Perfect weather forecasted.

I've been on a self imposed hiatus for three weeks. That's what I do when it starts to seem like work going out.

    Enjoy, Tip.

I've decided I need to do this 2-3 times/week. I'll rationalize it by calling it exercise. Wait, walking 18 at LP is exercise!

Good stuff. That describes the high temperature today where I live. My sticks are in hibernation until spring.

Have been scoring good deals on Golfnow.com

10 am eastern ,got a 11:56 at a local course for $18 incl.cart and service charge. Decent lay-out for a muni ,hey $18 says it all.
After tuesday elbow felt ok,so I'll give it a shot.

That looks like a nice course Ken

We managed to knock off 18 in a little over 3 hrs. That midwest chill hit here ,made it harder to play with a sweatshirt and a windshirt.. Good news is the elbow is back in shape and the temps are supposed to go back into the 60's next week.
