Has anybody on this forum every witnessed somebody or have you hit all your numbers on a craps table fire bet? If someone doesn't know what a fire bet is, at some casinos, they have a fire bet on the craps table. You bet that before you or somebody starts throwing the dice. Points are made when the shooter establishes a point by rolling a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 and then rolls that number again before rolling a 7. Each number can only be made as the point once to count toward a winning Fire Bet. At the end of each Shooter’s turn, a Fire Bet will begin to win if four or more of the six individual points are made. The payout odds on a winning Fire Bet shall be: 40 for 1 on 4 individual points, 200 for 1 on 5 individual points, and 500 for 1 on 6 individual points.
I saw one time a guy hit five different numbers but never all six numbers.

The bolded part in the OP caught my eye. I haven't paid attention to the fire bet for a while, but was used to the payouts being 25/1 for 4 points, 250/1 for 5 points, and 1000/1 for 6 points (see Pay Table A on the below Wizard of Odds link). I've hit 4 out of 6 twice, and the one time I actually had made the 4,5,9, and 10......but established the 6 or 8 and then sevened out.

As UKFanatic mentioned, I have not seen the Fire bet in a while. I didn't bet it except sometime when I am shooting.
I have hit 4 points 3 time and 5 points 2 times but never 6.

I did see it hit twice on same table by same shooter, well 1 and1/2 times by same shooter. It was one afternoon at the Hilton. The table had 5 players One shooter who was the only person betting it stared and rolled 3 passes then passed the dice. Everyone was WTH? The dealers asked him if he was sure, he said yes and said his shoulder hurt and acted like his shoulder hurt, was rubbing it. The stick moved the dice to the next shoulder, who was young, early to mid 20's and wasn't sure what was going on. The stick explained that he was finishing the roll and that he would have the option to roll again after he 7'd out. The original shooter told him to go ahead and pick up the dice and roll. After we all encouraged him to roll, he did. he went on to roll the other 3 point to complete the 6 fire bet. The better tipped the dealers and the shooter $100. He had bet $5, which was max bet at the time.

The shooter was give the option to shoot again but passed. The worked it way around the and back to the shooter. The bettor bet $5 for himself, $5 for the dealers and $5 for the shooter. This time he hit all 6 by himself. I look on his face, when the dealer placed $5,000 in front of him, was priceless because he still did not realize that the bettor had made a bet for him. the dealer, pit, and player explained it to him and that the $5,000 was his. Lol.

The Hilton never did tax form for the fire bet, not sure how they got away with it.But Ive seen it hit 2 other time but never saw them do W2G or 1099G.

Fire bets are usually local bets.

I’ve hit the 5 at least 6 times throwing the dice (probably more). Never the 6.

Ive been lucky enough to be present to cash in a few times on the 6 Fire bet. Yes. It paid 1000-1.

It used to be pretty prevalent at Vegas casinos, but its decline started when some resorts started offering the ATS wager instead

I have hit 6 once(not the shooter) and 5 at least 6 times. Best I have seen it was at Paris many years ago and I walked up to a table and watched a guy finish rolling a 5 point fire bet. No one was on it I bought in and next shooter rolled a 5 point , I was on it.

I hit the 6 point bet once at Hollywood Columbus in 2018. Was in town for business mid-week and finished with the group dinner around 8. Had not been to a casino in a few months so I decided to drop in for a quick craps session. Got to the $10 table around 9 pm just to the right of the stick. Table was running pretty well so it was about 30 min before the dice made it to me for my first time as shooter. I put $3 on the fire for me and $1 for the dealers. I proceeded to roll 12 points and hit the 6 as my last point for the 6 point fire. $3k for me, $1k for the dealers, and about $25k for others at the table. Ended Up about $5k and am still using it as bankroll for my trips.

This thread brings up a painful memory that needs to be revisited for cathartic purposes. At Harrah's Philadelphia (then Harrah's Chester) years ago (2012) I was at a pretty choppy table. When it was my turn to roll (and ironically I pass on rolling a lot), I hit a 5-point fire bet, had $5 on it. I said to myself something along the lines of "Well, I don't think that's going to happen again anytime soon", so I didn't place a fire bet for the next shooter . . .

. . . you can guess what happened next

    . . . yep, he hit a 6-point fire bet

    :haha:

    . . . I laugh about it so I don't cry

Your heartache aside I never understood this.

After all, they don't let you deal the cards in blackjack, you can't spin the wheel in roulette...

I have seen the 6 number fire bet hit a number of times. What that number is? At least two and maybe several more. I have hit the fire bet once. NOBODY was on it!:bang:

I have won the 5 out of 6 twice for $250 each and am pretty certain that I am lifetime ahead on the fire bet.

Now to drift off topic, once watched a shooter hit the All Tall twice on the same hand. Again, nobody was on it!:wink2:

In my last trip report, I was there to see someone hit the firebet for all 6 at Cosmo. He bet $100 on it and it hit for $20k. The man screamed so loud, we could hear it from the baccarat table in the hi-limit area. LOL. Good times.

You sure it was a firebet? I ask because even thugh its been probably a year since I last played craps at Cosmo, I don't recall them offering the firebet. Plus, I've never sene any place the allowed a $100 bet on it and the payout seems greatly reduced. If so, Cosmo has changed its craps felt since I last played

It paid 200 to 1. Is that ATS or firebet? Maybe he hit only 5 numbers instead of 6 to get 200-1? It was for sure at Cosmo. He ran in with his 20K chips after his crazy scream. Last year Nov 2019.

The places I played it had 6 points at 1000:1 not 500:1.

I've seen 5 hit twice, but never 6. Once was at Wheeling Island Casino in WV. I was playing the Firebet the entire time. But I was getting a drink when bets were made and forgot to put my money down. There were just three of us at the table, so that one stung a bit. I always play it for a dollar.

The second time was at Caesar's Windsor. I love gambling in Canada because their casinos are non-smoking. Just across the river from Detroit for easy in and out. They have $10 minimums there, which is tough as I usually play 5. But the dollar was strong, so it was really a $8 USD table. It was really cold before that Firebet hit. It filled the table and pushed all the dark side players out.

I enjoy the Firebet, but it's really tough to find around Vegas.

Probably the ATS. I know they had that bet available last year. I don't recall ever seeing firebet there. ATS makes sense for that payout and amount wagered

Cool. Thanks for the correction. I'm not so familiar with those bets as I'm strictly a pass line and place bet player. I rarely play center bets.

I used to play the ATS semi regularly until they reduced the payouts. Now, I don't play it at all
