We will be going down mid Aug from Monday-Sat.
Looking to split the stay up into two different hotels.
-Aria sky suit or Cosmo wrap around.
-Flamingo/P.H/Linq/Mirage, any other cheaper end hotels that aren't shit
If cosmo is it better to just book or the suit or do the $20/50 sandwich.

I'd do Cosmo over Aria, especially if you haven't stayed there. The terraces are one of a kind experiences. As far as booking the suite, I'd do it ahead of time to make sure you get it. It's likely that by the time you get there all of the fountain view rooms will be booked and you'll be out of luck. You could book a Studio/1BR fountain view and hope for a Wrapparound upgrade, though.

Next group - depends on your price preferences. Mirage is likely going to be way more expensive than Flamingo/Linq - PH likely somewhere in the middle. PH is a good time for high 20s, and Flamingo has a great pool, but shit rooms (although they are being upgraded as we speak). Linq is small and the rooms are small, but I like the casino there and the energy that comes along with being close to the promenade.

Other possibilities at the lower end might be NYNY or Ballys. NYNY seems to have gone downhill, but Ballys has nice upgraded (Jubillee) rooms.

I'd recommend PH for your age range but it's so close to Aria/Cosmo already that it's a difficult base to work the north end of the strip from. If you're big on a pool you can consider Luxor on the low end, too.

It would help to know more of your interests. But you can't really go wrong with Cosmo or Aria. Wraparound suites at Cosmo are given out by hosts, so I would be surprised if greasing the front desk would help

I've stayed at both, but have not gone to the cosmos pool. I do want a up beat pool but nothing crazy. will be doing a cabana one, along with a night club and or day club. I've been a good handful of times, and this will be her second time in Vegas. not big gamblers, but will throw some money in for fun. anything else?
looking at the sky suits, it lists all the all the details/ perks you get, the wrap around doesn't give you much. Besides the view is there anything that the wrap around gives you that the sky suit doesn't?

I would probably go with Mirage first and then Cosmo/Aria for the second half. You don't want to downgrade midway through the trip.

I would put Mirage ahead of PH because you already will have the PH location covered with your Cosmo/Aria stay. I think Mirage is nicer than what CET has to offer in terms of Linq, Flamingo, Harrahs. Out one door you are right next to the Forum shops out the main doors and you are right across from V/P. It has a good pool, Flamingo is better, but Mirage is probably second out of the places you mentioned.

As for Cosmo v Aria Skysuites, I guess it all depends what you want. I am pretty loyal to Aria these days and haven't been able to convince the wife to try a few days at Cosmo. I think both are similar in quality on the base rooms. I've never stayed in the Skysuites, but service is supposed to be incredible. The fountain view terrace is supposed to be awesome to though. Both properties have great restaurants and amenities. With either you can't go wrong.

Def book cosmo wrap around and do it in advanced if you want it. Sandwich won't work during summer time likely.

check the rate calendars to figure out rates. Could be a big factor in your schedule.

Suites with $20+ are much harder to get. They are often managed by the host group, or to people that actually pay for them.

If you have the money, go to Cosmo.
If you want a more "value" stay, but good vibe for high 20s..stay at Linq.

I totally agree with this 1000%. We've done this a couple of times, put the lesser room last, and it can make an even nice hotel disapointing, because it's still a drop down. Conversely, having the lesser room first works great for us...you enjoy the room more, and the uptake mid trip is a double bonus!

Whatever you u do, have a blast!

I like the Cosmo. Stayed out there when I got married and had a fountain view wrap around terrace suite. The only downside was the HVAC view on the other side. Supposedly we got the lady one available as a paid upgrade from a non fountain. I don't remember how much more it was but not much 20/30 bucks I think. I saw some of the standard rooms and the rooms are nice and some of them have some pretty nice views. I love the Flamingo but the rooms there are getting tired.
My .02 cents would be 1st 2 nights at PH last 2 at Cosmo

Did you get married at the Aria or on the strip? where did you get information about it all? I've been wanting to look for information on doing that
