Well, that depends on where you are staying and what you are up to.

And speaking of tips, LOTS of gratuities to be expended in Vegas. Just read up on the level of expectations.
The thing about Vegas is, the first time, it's absolutely overwhelming. Common sense pays dividends out that way.

Don't make any new friends quickly..Watch your purse at all times.Same as you do at home I'm sure.
Eventually you're gonna have many new acquaintances and have a great time just chatting, Have a great trip!

    Welcome to the Board, katie!
Hopefully you've been checking out the Trip Reports section. That's a good place to see some pics and get some facts and opinions about the many things to see and experience in Vegas!

Best wishes as you prepare for your trip!

    Hey Katie,
I'm going solo around the same time, sooo hi!

Some great tips have been said so far:
    - if you want to check out the strip, 'are sure you have comfortable shoes. Lots of walking.
    - tips are very important. Always tip your dealers and cocktail waitresses. Common courtesy and they'll tend love you/special treatment.

Personally, I love to gamble. Probably the most important thing with gambling: only wager what you're ready to lose. Taking trip after trip to the ATM to try and win it back is not the answer.

Have a great time and be open to new stuff (while still being safe, of course).

Msg if you want to get a drink and tell a fellow VMBer about your trip!!

    -Jesse
