    Have popped in and out over the years reading trip reports but mainly did most of my chatting on Vegas FB groups. There's just so many mean spirited people over there so I wanted to give these forums a try! Looking forward to chatting with everyone :D

    Welcome, this is a great community and Sonya is our saviour. I moan at my friends being addicted to FB (which I refuse to use), but I am here everyday checking our the latest threads. This addiction is way better

    Navigating facebook is largely a matter of knowing where to go and where not to go. Family and friends post there, so I use it daily. Sometimes I say things I would never say here to people who would never be allowed to post here. Thanks to friends I met on LVA years ago, I belong to a tiny and quite congenial Vegas fb group whose membership is tightly controlled by its founders. Sorry you had the opposite experience. You'll like VMB. Welcome.

    I agree, I use it daily to interact with friends but I've picked the larger Vegas groups in hopes of more frequent activity. It used to be fun but the bigger the groups get the more bad apples seem to fall into the bunch! Wouldn't be surprised at lots of troll accounts too! I'm happy to find new people to talk Vegas with!

    Welcome, Sonya & other moderators run this site great. The other major site, TA, is loaded with many cynical posters with 50,000 + posts, that belittle you when you ask a legit question. You will be happier here. Here, there are friendlier posters.
