So I have been hearing a lot about this JoJo's Jerky.. I know to each their own but wanted to see what Jerky is recommended by the VMB group that has tried this Jerky.. I typically like some Spicy food but sometimes the 2nd time around-(BELCH) it doesn't taste so good.. :0) So Thoughts on What to try- Beef Turkey- Sweet or Spicy...??? Thank you in advance...
Haven't tried JoJos but I've been really enjoying Lorissa's Kitchen -- from the makers of Jack's Links. Really quality stuff that tastes amazing.
Thank you spdandpwr.... I also have tried Jack Links...(Our Friendly Neighbor to the East in Sconnie.. ) ) Saw the Groupon for Jojo's so wanted to see what others thought of it...
Whittington jerky in Johnson City, Texas. Pricy but great. You can google. If nearby it is worth a stop.
Thanks All. Anyone try JoJo's out of Vegas? Thinking about getting some Jerky from there in my next trip out. What is recommended from JoJo's?
I bought a few assorted flavors from JoJo's, the mildest ones. I think one was teriyaki and another was pepper, although it was milder than one would expect for something called pepper. What I didn't like about them is I thought they were a little drier and tougher than others I have had. However my coworkers really seemed to enjoy it. I also bought mine with a Groupon on a discount. Otherwise I would consider it very overpriced for the quantity receive. With the Groupon it was fine for a take-home item.
they have samples to try at the bazaar shops location in front of ballys, not sure what flavors my brother bought but it was cheap and good. they had plenty to pic from, and even vegan jerky made from cactus which, I didnt but want to try...the groupon helps a lot too
Been to JoJo's, and I used to go to the Beef Jerky Store on 4th St, but lately, my favorite is Gus' Beef Jerky in Searchlight. Their Cowboy Beef Jerky is my favorite.
