Well I made it to Pearson on Toronto...I'm waiting for my chariot to whisk me away to my favoritist place on planet Earth...all looks as planned so I should be arriving in the Holy Land at about 2:30pm Vegas time.
Looking forward to a trip filled with entertainment from the Baddest Man on the Planet to the Rocket Man, some Old Stones, and a battle of inches on Sunday... a few wobbly pops may be consumed as well and perhaps I'll try my luck at a game of chance or two
Got the rental (loaded Ford Taurus, nice!) and made the necessary stop at Wal-Mart to grab some essentials. Just got into the room at TI! Having myself a wobbly pop as I get settled...17th floor facing the magnificent Strip! What beauty to my eyeballs!
Blew $70 in slots at TI then went over to Stripburger for a bite and ran into UFC fighter Nick Diaz...nice guy!
Back at TI now to fix myself up a little then heading over to MGM to catch another fighter talk about his crazy life!

I don't know WTF happened last night... I woke up this morning and there was a fkn tiger in my hotel room!! I also found a baby in the closet and a chunk of my ear is gone! My only clue is this picture I found on my phone...

Before I recap what I can remember from my first day I just wanted to say that I love waking up and seeing this view out my window...
So, day 1 was a success! I woke up this morning on 3 hours sleep (thank you time change) and counted my loot...after all was said and done I spent a grand total of $71... that included my Walmart essentials, 2 meals, all my drinks and tips, all my gambling, and even this awesome boxing glove signed by Iron Mike...
I'll bore you with some details ... after checking-in I came up to the room and got settled, had a couple wobbly pops and noticed I was feeling 'wobbly' fairly quickly. I realized I hadn't eaten anything at all since dinner on Wednesday so I had to get some food.
I went down to Stripburger across from Wynn to grab a bite. I like their burgers and usually eat there at least once every trip. It didn't disappoint. As you may have noticed from one of my previous posts I ran into UFC fighter Nick Diaz there and chatted with him for about 15 minutes. He was a cool guy.
After this I came back to the room to get ready to head to MGM for Tyson's show. I was contemplating earlier in the day whether or not I was going to take the rental but the 3 $2 bud lights I had at Stripburger and the 3 tall boys I had before that kinda made my decision for me.
I walked from TI to MGM...it's long but wasn't a bad walk as I had been sitting on my ass all day and needed it (a 3.5 hour drive to Pearson then the 5 hour flight). Got to MGM and threw some money in a couple slots to no avail. So I sat at a $50 bj table and played 2 shoes before the show, which you already know the result of...
As for the show it was pretty good! He talks about some of the main parts of his life and his self-depreciating humor works and makes it funny and likeable. He talked a lot about sex and drugs, which was basically his while life outside of the many 15 second boxing matches he had haha
After the show I got a chance to meet him, I thought it was pretty awesome to meet a real legend of boxing, the baddest man on the planet. I used to play his video game on Nintendo lol And now I'm shaking his hand. Cool stuff!
After the show I played a few slots at MGM and didn't hit anything at all. Tight ass machines! I took off and started making the trek back to TI. I played some blackjack at Flamingo and lost $300, then another $100 in their tight ass machines before making it back to TI. Grabbed a bite at the cafe then crashed.
Today I'm planning on heading down to the pool for awhile then downtown to check things out there. I heard there is some sort of "Back to the Future" thing going on at the Plaza this afternoon so I'm going to check out the Delorian and see what Marty McFly has been up to for the past 30 years...
