After years of mainly being a Venetian/Palazzo guy (with a couple flings at other places) I'm going to be staying at Caesar's this coming weekend for SB.

Thanks to an insane run last MM I made Diamond so I want to keep CET in the rotation now. I've never stayed at CP.

I'm booked in the Augustus Tower with a fountain view.

I thought I recalled seeing something about a remodel there and if that is true I want to make sure I get a new room.

Is there a particular floor I should ask for?

    Thanks!

You'll have to ask @PayTriple about that.

You may be lucky to get Augustus room at all for SB. I am 7 stars and I had Augustus room booked on busy weekends and they try to put me in Octavius tower. I have to put up a fight to keep in Augustus. Octavius is a long walk, and not as convenient to the strip as Augustus is.

I'll be over at Planet Hollywood for SB.

The whole Augustus tower has been remodeled and very nice. We were there for the 50th anniversary in August and loved it. Have fun.................Rick

I wonder if my problems occurred during remodel time and they had less availability, maybe you will have no issue getting one. One was SB last year and last oct. I do like those rooms.

The Augustus Tower was probably the nicest hotel room I have ever stayed in! If you can get one, get a room that faces south and you will have a great view of the Bellagio fountains.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I've been told the room is equal to or a little better than Palazzo's and that's what I'm shooting for.

HOU - I am a bit concerned especially since I arrive late Friday night (around 1130). I'll be calling that morning to confirm and make sure they know I'm coming and to not give the room away.

We had an Augustus tower room in July and it was really nice. Highly recommend the Augustus, don't know about the Octavius, sorry. Have a great trip!

Below is a shot, a "cliche'" shot I admit, of the view from the room we had in the Augustus tower. This was, fortunately, before the encroachment of CVS and such.

My hunch is that the view from the Octavius tower might be blocked by the corner of the Bellagio, but I'm not 100% sure on that.
