I am so looking forward to reading your TR. I have a trip scheduled the last week of August and I am very curious what your experience is. My understanding is that most shows are not up and running yet. I wonder if restaurants are allowing dine in.

Perhaps you could try some of the outdoors things if you enjoy that. Red Rock Canyon, Skywalk at the Grand Canyon etc.

You'll have fun and be fine, it'll be good.

I was at one of my locals in California yesterday and it's not a big deal. Comply with their requests (masks), maintain distance when necessary, and just enjoy your time there. They had temperature checks which was a quick forehead scan, every other machine was turned off, sanitation was on point by employees and everyone was happy to be back. The casino I visited has gone completely non smoking for now, which was great - the difference was immediate when you walked in. Social distanced slot machines looked fine, I was able to play and drink my coffee, most everyone respected each other's space. It's not as terrible as people seem to think.

    Have a great time!

Thanksgiving with my favorite, in our favorite place!

Your group is going to get a very unique look and feel for things, seeing as how you are all staying both on the strip and downtown, as well as in 4 different properties under 4 different ownerships.

Personally, there's no offer that could get me to go on reopening day(or even the first week or two). EVERYONE in town, EVERYONE staying at every property is checking in on the same day. With social distancing and 4 to an elevator, I would imagine lines will be unreal. Most of the people who absolutely have to be there the first day of reopening are going to cut loose and aren't going to be too concerned about new rules or be in the mood after their 6th cocktail for casino employees to break up groups. This is all new territory for the casinos themselves, and we have no idea how they will be handling things or if they will be able to handle things. And there is the potential for the protests and civil unrest to play a part in things. Thursday, the weekend, and maybe beyond all has the potential to be a total clusterFelixUngerCalvinKlein.

Maybe I'm playing devil's advocate. Maybe I'm just thinking cautiously.

I do hope it all goes well for you and everyone. I do hope people are patient and understanding with employees. I do hope the resorts don't over-pack their properties. I do hope everyone has fun and is respectful of each other.

Be prepared to be patient. Be prepared to be understanding. Be prepared for a completely different Vegas. And be safe.

Good Morning Today is the Day!! Everything is still on track as planned, except for my hubby having to stay home for work due to the riots. We are in Chicago one of the cities hit the hardest. So the show must go own without him. My mental state won't allow me to cancel another vacation. I will let you all know that I will get a lot more coverage this way. He is more of a sit in one place and gamble all day type of guy.

So I packed up the booze. I'm headed off to see my oldest son graduate from high school at 10 and then its straight to party mode from there. If you read my 1st report you know there will be plenty of booze, weed and low rolling on the slots. I'll meet you guys here later can't wait.
