Haven't been on this board long and the reason I found it is because I was planning this trip. So I figured I owed it to the people who helped me to write this TR. I'm staying home from work today because my body still isn't working properly, so I plan on making this pretty long and detailed. Hope you all enjoy it.
DISCLAIMER: This was not your average Vegas trip. There was very, very, very little sleeping, eating, and gambling. There was also alot of drinking, girls, clubs and most of all laughing. Please don't read this if you don't approve of that stuff. Keep in mind it was a bachelor party of 9 guys and only the bachelor had a significant other. Ok you've been warned.
Intro:
I'm going to give a very short description of each guy that went, along with their relationship to both me and the Bachelor. Should give everyone a little better feel for the group dynamics we had going. I'm going to be a little general, to hopefully protect the innocent (of which there weren't any). We are all between 24-28 and work in professional type jobs.
Eli (me)- I was the trip planner for this particular trip. I have known the bachelor since middle school and have been very good friends with him since HS. We also went to college together and were in the same fraternity. I have been to Vegas once a few months ago for work by myself.
DR (bachelor)- Getting married in early september. Never been to Vegas.
DG- One of DR and my best friends from HS and college. Only guy in our group that isn't currently living in Orlando. Never been to LV.
JA- My best friend from college, fraternity little bro and current roommate. Knows DR through fraternity. Never been to LV
NE- Another friend of mine and DR from HS and college also my other current roommate. 3rd time to LV
AJ- Another friend of mine and DR from HS and college. Our "big" guy. Decided to come along one week before we left thanks to my 6 month interest free loan
Been to LV many times.
AB- A newer good friend of mine, I met him at work and him and his roommates have become very good friends with me and all my roommates. Hadn't even met DR until we got to the airport. Never been to LV.
BG- AB's roommate. Same situation as above. We left on Thursday night at 9, he asked me if he could go wednesday night at 9. Never been to LV.
AD- Good friend from college, oldest of the group. Unfortunately his flight was delayed and he didn't get in until Fri morning. Knows DR but barely. Been to Vegas many times.
Trip intro:
We booked two regular rooms at the Palms one through tripreservations.com and one directly through a host at the Palms. They were both around a $1,000 for Thurs night through Sun night. Total of 9 guys, they gave us no problems about the extra guys and did not charge us any extra person fees. (My host was Charlie Nelson at the Palms and he was great!) Also used a concierge company to book many of our nights. Now, this was not by any means cheap, but if you can afford it I cannot reccommend it highly enough (Vegashotspots.com Host was Brandon Matchen) Best decision I made on this trip was using them.
Now that we have that out of the way the next post will start with the actual trip.......
