    Greetings from sunny Florida!

My wife and I along with some close friends have booked a 20th Anniversary trip to where else but Las Vegas. Only one of us has been and that was too long ago to make a reasonable input to the current trip. We will be arriving on a Sunday and leaving the following Friday so it will be a fairly short trip. Both couples are frugal, but typically like to splurge a bit on vacation.
For gaming we have a blackjack player, a roulette player and a couple of slots players. We have typically visited the Mississippi casinos in the past, and decided to hit Vegas this time.
Over the next few months we will be deciding what to see and what deals we might find. I hope that I can learn from the pros here to help us in this adventure.

    Thanks,
    Craig

If coming during summer, people will say it is too hot. Don't listen, vegas in summer is a walk in the park compared to our Florida summers

This be the place to learn about Vegas! Sunday to Friday is actually considered a typical length based on the free rooms most people are able to obtain. Might be worth a day to see the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam.

Thanks all. I'm a bit of a data nerd so to try and get an idea of what everyone in the group might want to do, I created a google form with about 50 things on it from free things to rides to shows to tours. Everyone is supposed to give their own opinion. Once everyone has completed it, I'll tabulate the results and narrow it down to 10-12 things, and divide that up between the people going to find deals.

Not really worried about the September heat, 99 degrees and 5% humidity is nothing compared to 94 degrees and 85% humidity.
