    My name is Stan and I'm new to the board and to Vegas really. I have only been to Vegas once for a conference and basically stayed at the Mirage the entire time. I did go to Fremont street one night and that was fun but did not get to see much else. I have a solo trip planed 11/30-12/4 and I'm staying at the MGM Grand. I was wondering if the MGM was good for a solo trip? Any tips or advice would be appreciated.

    There are many helpful people on this board who know lots about MGM Grand.
    I'm sure they'll be along soon to give you advice.

    *edited to add you might want to check out the LV Strip Hotels & Casinos section of the board for reviews, hints and tips.

    I think you'll have a great time solo at the MGM Grand. I'm going solo in a couple weeks and am intending to do the same:D. Welcome to the board! I think you'll learn a lot and laugh a lot!
