Bazootch called me this morning right after he got up. Had some success at the Pai Gow tables, of course, but just treaded water all night in the Golden Nugget poker room.

On a more interesting note, he said that when he got to the car rental place, they were all out of 'full size' vehicles. So they gave him a mini-van.

Yeah, mama don't have to worry about him gettin' in any trouble now... (Cuz no self-respectin' midget hooker would ride in a Chrysler Town & Country, ya know?)

Oh Dougie.. Dougie.. Dougie. Have you not learned anything around here? When they are out of full size, you always, and I mean ALWAYS go for the convertable.

Hmm, come to think of it, full size, mini van, I KNOW there's a midget joke there somewhere ;)

I hit Dougie with the following text message while he was getting his rental: Two words: All IN!

I got a phone message back with the sad rental tale.... Shock, the most hideous part is, he had reserved a convertable...that's what they were out of!! Brutal.

OUCH...from a car to a kid mobile and in Vegas no less

. May the poker gods smile on Dougie after that!

My total fee for barely 2 days was 43.19. That's just about what cab fare would be. After I found the MB tourney was sold out, the soccermommobile never left the confines of the Fremont valet lot.

But folding away the back 2 seats, there could have been *plenty* of room for a midget encounter...

Oh yeah, the high on Friday was 112. Cruising the strip at 6 mph with the top down would NOT have been cool. It would have been more like an audition for the IP luau show, trying for the role of the character that has an apple in it's mouth.

We grammarians welcome all into our fold

Required reading is Eats, Shoots and Leaves....

No time for kids, I spend all my free time correcting people's spelling and grammar here  Just call me Grandma "Sit your a$$ back down at that desk and don't send me another email until you've checked the spelling and punctuation!!"

Hoya, do you want to be the anal one about spelling this time, or should I? Or any other takers?
