A little frustrated with my last MyVegas experience.
Turns out (for at least the two I used) you can not use a MV comp and charge any additional associated costs to your room.
I had the $30 credit for Heritage Steak at Mirage and a 2 for 1 at the Aria buffet.
Total for Heritage was $200+, told them I had the $30 for MV and wanted to charge to my room. I was told it had to be one or the other. I could either use the $30 comp and pay with cash or card OR I could charge it to my room but the MV credit could not be applied if I charged to the room. They said it was a "new policy".
Pretty much the same thing at the Aria buffet. Could not use the 2 for 1 voucher if I wanted to charge the "1" to the room. I had to pay with cash or card.
I was told by mlife that it's being done in an effort to cut down on people getting the myvegas comp and getting more of that associated charge comped off on the back end from their casino play.
Come on!
