Just wondering..........in September SLS had initially agreed to match my Cosmo free play (slots), but later retracted stating they would only do it with a stay at the property. Was planning to try this in December. I notice Packer mentions in his current trip report that the SLS has entirely discontinued promo chips now.

Has anyone booked into the SLS with another hotel offer, and the SLS honoured the stay and free play?

    Thanks~

I'm stunned! I have a 5k promo chip that is worthless now. Damn.

I had them match my free play with slot credits and my RFB.

I am not surprised by this at all, I'm sure they were getting slammed by people using free play but not really staying/playing. I do wonder what strategy they will use to attract big players now.

Are you booked in with a room stay as well? Good luck, hopefully you get your free play and you are able to tell us about it!

Yes, I noticed they've reduced some restaurant hours, wondering if they will discontinue any match play!

Is there a specific host that people use to get this matching offer?

I tried back in Sept. My CET offer was for $500 in free play. Host said they would match as long as I sent them an email with it, the only email I had was for October that included the $500 in free play plus a slot tourney. She said she would get me the free play with no stay since i already had a room booked that trip. I said matching the FP would get me in the door and I'll check it out. Give her all my info for a card and 3 days go by and she says I need to stay with them. I said fine, I'll double book and give her a days worth of play. 3 more days go by and she said her boss needs me to send her an offer thats good in Sept, not Oct.

By now I'm getting a little fed up. I say, nicely, that was the only offer I had in an email, my online account has a ton of offers. But what I sent her should be proof of what other casinos in town rate me with. 2 days go by and my trip is upcoming and they back out and tell me they wont match.

The host was nice about it and said they were flooded with people looking to get matched and promised she would try again with a current offer later...
