I have a Resort Tower king booked at Mirage for X-Mas. Today I noticed that Harrah's has a Valley Tower King Strip View room for the same exact price. The Harrah's room is a little smaller than the Mirage room, but that is no biggie to me. I just want a nice room, nice bathroom, good view and good customer service. The Harrah's location appeals to me but I haven't stayed at Harrah's in a long, long time. Can any VMBers out there offer any thoughts on this? Thanks.

If they're the exact same price, the obvious choice is Mirage based on member feedback on this forum. Even though Caesar's has done a great job remodeling these rooms, you'd still be at Harrah's.

Unless of course you will be doing all your play at Harrahs. I think that could sway the decision. Maybe.

The term Harrah's Strip View is an oxymoron. There are a few rooms that have a view of the volcano but otherwise a strip view is not something you pick Harrah's as a hotel for. I don't know what is wrong in the universe but a room at Harrah's should never be as much as the Mirage. Unless you prefer the casino, stay at the Mirage.

Good choice. I have never stayed at Mirage, but have heard nothing but nice things about it. Also, I find Mirage to be much more of a resort than Harrahs, which feels local.
