Scott Roeben reports that the Jester thingie is coming down.
Too much like the ones over at the Orleans, perhaps?
Maybe they are going to put up another zipline.
Not good.....those are so retro & iconic! Will miss seeing them!!
Geez. I didn't even notice them because I always come in the back way . . . .
That little corner is so dark right now without the jester lighting the area up and the entrance boarded up. The jester had a big piece missing from the front of the face and I actually thought someone may have vandalized it.
I don't like Harrah's but have always appreciated the jester. I hope they're not de-theming.
Maybe Maverick did too close a fly by?
As long as the keep the Greenbacks
Is there much "theme" within the casino?
Considering they made a slot for them this year, doubt they are going anywhere.
the theme is New Orleans
Well yes, but it's not overly prominent like it is at The Orleans.
well that is disappointing. coming down for good or for some sort of repair/renovation??
Probably making way for yet another LED signboard.
That's what she said
Boo! Probably right, though.
Are you sure it didn't just fall down?
Didn't they tear down the PH sign recently too?
The Nola Mardi Gras theme used to be more prominent at Harrah's. They have been slowly detheming over the years. It's a shame. You would think a party theme would be an easy one to do and promote.
Not much evidence of a new orleans theme anymore.
Jesters by Carnaval court have been gone for a while.
Carnaval tower rooms are now Valley rooms.
And the front bar and party pit are more country western themes than anything else.
