I am so sick of this property. They consistently rate my play terribly. Last time I was there they logged me in for one hour of play at an average roll of $600 in craps and I earned a whopping 34 tc. Today I played 2.5 hours. They gave me $200 a roll when it should have been closer to $350 (they wouldn't budge). I earned 200 tc.

In comparison playing the same exact system at harrahs in ac I played 4 hours. They gave me an average roll of $505. I earned 2350 in points.

I have a friend who played there the other day at a $200 average. They gave him 37 points at Philly for 1 hour of play. I have just about 300k tc. I sure as hell didn't get there with the way Philly rates. In comparison my daily tc in Nola is 20k!!! In KC I hit 15k. For some reason Philly is using a different algorithm which literally screws over craps players. Here is the real kicker. I have been told that your theo is approx half of your tc total. They told me my theo in Philly for the day was $450 although actual was 2900. If the formula holds true with theo being half of your tc, then I should have earned 900 tc which is about what I would have expected based upon my play. It's annoying Bc I know my already lousy offers will be further cut.

I have emails out to their host manager, my host, and the property GM.

harrahs philly is a dive with no hotel-----I see you are from NJ-----why pay to go over the bridge?-----why not just head to one of caesars properties in ac?----even if your are near the bridge in NJ,timewise wouldn't be much difference in travel

I've found all the PA casinos are terrible deals with terrible odds for games. You are much better off just sticking with AC. Wind Creek Bethlehem is much closer to my home than AC and I go to AC anyway because it's just a better experience all around.

The reason I have gone to philly a few times post covid is they do not have the annoying plexiglass up on the craps tables. It doesn't seem to matter much. Regardless this was my final trip. I don't care what they offer me. They should be ashamed of themselves for rating my play the way they did. I played the exact same way today at harrahs ac. They rated me at 350 a roll for 2.5 hours- 1400 tier points. While it's nothing great- i know it is still a good session. Philly shouldn't be able to get away with this nonsense.

Not 100% true. At least 6:5 blackjack is illegal in PA.

I was in AC this weekend and can confirm, every single BJ table was 3:2. This also included the $10 tables at Bally’s Sat morning.

If I lived in NJ and didn’t want to go to Vegas, I would only play in AC. You’ll get a room, great rules and drink service. It’s not even a comparison, as far as I’m concerned at least. Definitely the second best market in the US.

I can't confirm in the HL but on the floor, they did hit on S17. This was at all tables I played at ($10,15,25) in both Ballys and Caesars.

pa casinos actually have the best blackjack rules in the country-----they are set by state regulators not the casinos------having said that you will only find shoe games ------I know there is no 6/5 but not certain as to whether they stick on soft 17,haven't played the game there in a while

Yeah, Vegas has turned into a special occasion kind of place for us while we typically go to AC now when we want to get away for a few days. The addition of Hard Rock and Ocean made the city friendlier to gamblers all around and is also encouraging the other casinos to improve their hospitality. I always have a very nice time when I visit.

Harrah’s Philly has all the ambience of a Walmart with an adjacent race track, a blacked out ceiling and serve yourself soda machines, which are probably shut off due to Covid. The Video Poker bar comps drinks for Diamond and above. There are Almost 5 million souls within 25 miles of Chester, PA where this place is located. They don’t need to try hard to earn your business.

Table ratings have always been terrible there. Because I work in the philly area often I have been know to stop for a quickie on the ride home. After I usually ask why I stopped at Harrahs Chester.

The fact that they announced that they have permanently closed the poker room makes it even less appealing for me to stop. Not quite sure why they would permanently close the poker room when about a year ago they just built a pretty nice brand new room.
