I had a Carnival room in April. Would stay there again. Very nice.

Even before remodel we preferred the Carnaval/Valley room.

We are not picky when it comes to a room, therefore, we usually request Mardi Gras tower because its closer (not by a whole lot) to the casino floor. When there, we always ask for a room not overlooking Carnival Court.

yep that's really the only difference. other that window view. Identical, down to 4 French street wall hangings.

I stayed this last summer in the Carnaval room and it was just fine. And I did a short review on it, under my trip report "Two Old Birds", just in case you want a few more details.

    Have a fun trip!

I've stayed in both towers in the past. Each had a very clean room that was a decent size. Mardi Gras tower pool facing room has a sliding door that actually opens onto a "balcony" that's about 10 inches wide lol. Loved that as I'm not really a fan of processed air that's pumped throughout the sealed up hotels.

Each tower was easily accessed with clear signage although some of the hallways are long. Frequently noticed room service trays in the hall waiting for pick up but since I didn't have to pick them up myself, I just ignored them.

My preferred view was from the Carnival tower towards the eastern mountains (spectacular in the morning). I guess these rooms are now the Valley Tower. Neither tower has a good view of the strip although some of the rooms overlook the Mirage volcano.

If you don't mind a "plain Jane" room either will be fine.
