Anyone have any preference on the best room to book at the Harrahs Cherokee Hotel. Thanks
If you’re a smoker then the only tower is the oldest one, called Socco, the rooms are spacious for the most part but quite a bit older and it shows. The newest tower is Creek Tower and its a lot nicer and have the bigger showers (no bathtubs).
I feel the creek tower is starting to show it’s age a bit because it hasn’t been refreshed since they built it. The mountain tower was refurbed a few years back I think. We have stayed here a lot over the last 15 years or so and have never been disappointed with the quality of a room in any of the “towers”.
thanks for the information, looks like mountain tower maybe the choice.
Does this casinos craps table ever have 5.00 mins.
I’ve never seen a $5.00 craps table in Cherokee. They have 1 $5.00 blackjack table and that’s it.
Do they have any suites in this hotel in any towers? I've got my choice of all regular rooms and took the nice creek one after some internet research, but got an email to contact hosts so just wondering if there is anything nicer that's not showing up in my room searches?
@WrongWayWade are you still at Harrah's Cherokee, and is the $5 craps gone? I've seen mention of playing $5 craps there in some trip reports on this board and others but not in the last 9 or 10 months. I was pretty excited about that because it's always busy times when I visit Vegas and limits are always up, so I've never had the opportunity to play $5 craps on the strip. I couldnt even find a $10 table on my last vegas trip!
The top floor for all 3 towers are penthouse suites. The end of the hallways on the Creek and Mountain towers have corner suites on each floor. The corner suites I’ve stayed in are 1 bedroom suites with an over sized bathroom, a living room, and a dining room table.
Yes, they have lots of suites. I assume you can pay for them, but maybe not. I have gotten comp upgraded - usually on weekdays, rarely on weekend.
I actually like the older ones. They are a bit worn, but the rooms are totally separate vs the newer ones that have sliding door to bathroom, and glass wall sort of between bedroom and bath.
The suites on the very top floor on the newer tower are really special. I got one on a solo trip - even after I told them a regular room was fine.
I was there last Thursday morning - they had one 5$ craps table open , 3 10$ tables and 1 10$ crapless table
Awesome. I'm going on a Wednesday/Thursday night two weeks from tomorrow, so maybe I'll call the host and see if he or she can hook it up. Just didnt want to waste my time if they couldn't do anything for me, and that's really all that would interest me. I didnt see any suites listed logged in or out so I wasn't sure but couldnt imagine they wouldn't have some at a giant casino with no competition. I just want a bigger bathroom but dont really care that much. If it's free, I'll take it! Thanks guys!
And thank you @Dr Nostron - I'd always heard they always have 5/10 craps and am looking forward to being able to play with reckless abandon with the lower minimums lol
I tend to cover every number on a 5$ table lol
