    Hello Again,

As many of you know, I have a comped room at Harrah's, carnaval tower.

I am going to try the "sandwich" to hopefully get upgraded to a Valley Tower room. Just in case it doesn't work, has anyone on here, stayed in the carnaval tower and thought their room was just fine. I realize we are not talking Wynn type rooms. LOL If your room wasn't up to par, I'd like to know that as well, so I have a little leverage upon check in, if I need it.

Right now, I have a 2 queen room, north facing, non smoking, away from Carnaval court.

Thank you again. (yes, I know I am being a pest, just super excited for this trip with my aunt.)

I have not stayed in a "regular" Carnival Tower room, just the Valley Tower rooms. They are in the same tower. When you get to the "Y", left is the Carnival Tower, and right is the Valley Tower.

Pictures of a Valley Tower room here:

Pictures of the room are a little bit "in" to the post, but on the first page

The Valley Tower rooms were nice. I can't imagine that the Carnival Tower rooms would "unacceptable".

I've been in both. The regular rooms are dated, to be sure, but clean and comfortable. You will have a fridge in either room which is a convenience. The Valley rooms are just more up-to-date decor wise.

I don't believe there are fridges in either tower. Originally the Carnaval South now the Valley tower did have fridges listed as an amenity, but that was taken off before they finished them

Perhaps it's just not listed. I was in a Valley room a moth ago and there was a fridge.

Thanks for the info on the rooms. A fridge would be nice, but no big deal if we don't have one. It has been many years since my aunt has stayed in a hotel room, so to tell you the truth, anything will be fine with her. It is me, that is a trifle picky. LOL

And I'm bringing a small coffee maker, hate to get dressed to get coffee. LOL Wish the rooms had coffee makers.;)

I stayed in a Carnaval tower room last month. There was NO fridge in the room. The room was fine, nothing fancy or remarkable, but completely adequate.

Thanks for the information about the room.

It will be fine, whatever we get, as long as it's quiet.

    IWannaBeInVegas,

I really appreciate the photo's and want to thank you.

That was very kind of you.

I'll write a trip report once I get back from our June 11th trip. Better grab a tall cold one, it may be a long one. LOL

    jintheuk,
Thanks for the review on the carnaval tower room. I m hoping for a Valley Tower room, and I actually would need 2 queens since I will be there with my aunt. If I can get an upgrade for 11.00 or for free, I'll probably take it. If not carnaval tower is just fine. I don't mind dated, as long as it's clean and has a comfy bed. My bones aren't what they used to be, and a comfortable bed is a must. LOL
