    My Trip Report

Headed out to las vegas baby! Looking for a midweek getaway and to be back home before the labor day weekend rush.
Currently a platinum card holder for CET - king suite 2 nights only charged resort fees (70 some odd dollars)
Found roundtrip tickets for 2 on SWA for 310.00 total.its usually 500 to 600 bucks for 2 to fly out.

Dilemma im facing right now is that this is my 1st trip of the year my usual times to go are april/may july (bday)and december... so due to COVID i havent been and i need to try to earn all my points to stay platnium.

Bankroll is 2100 divided over 3 days tues/wed/thurs
I also have a reserved 2000 i want to try something really wild on ...100 wheel of fortune or 10 hands of 100 dollar BJ not entirely sure yet

I play black jack slots some vp and a little bit of craps
My SO is a very low roller in comparison and has only visted Vegas a few times ...its our 1st trip so he will either love traveling with me or hate it ...
He seems a bit nervous about his BR so i got us ACG coupon books and i planned a downtown afternoon/night for us. It doesn't bother me at all I've been building my bankroll for years and have gotten good at leaving up and not forcing or chasing losses. I hope he can do the same. And I hope the coupon thing doesnt turn him off ...i personally have done this before and i really like visiting so many places. He says hes excited we shall see.
I have mlife rewards so will be excited to see what we can use.

    Reservations at
    MAG @Paris
    LAGO@ Bellagio

IN & OUT is a given

Mirage is open and i have mlife habitat tickets so hopefully can use that
Mob Museum and possibly zipline downtown if open

Lots of drinking and gambling i wanted to do some shopping but have heard you cant really window shop right now ...i dont NEED anything so we will play by ear.

Have plenty of masks, sanitizer and clorox wipes

Leaving Tuesday arrive in Vegas at 0700 AM
    Leaving Thursday at 8:00 PM

Will try my best to keep live

    21s royals and hot rolls!!

Your SO will like it. Vegas is best done with good company. This helps especially now that it is more watered down version of Vegas. No shame in low rolling! Me and my partner pool our bankrolls to play higher and split the profits if any. This makes us engaged in playing slots together and we get to enjoy each others company doing so. Good luck and look forward to your trip.

It sounds like your dilemma isn't much of one, I'd take the reserve $2K and add it to your bankroll each day and play slot levels you'd normally play. With any luck you can make Diamond in a Day or 2-days of 2500TC (5K Tier credits +10K bonus or 2.5K+5K bonus x2 days) and then you'd have a level that is actually worth something with CET (Diamond Lounge, dinner, no resort fees etc) Platinum is really nothing except a different color Gold card ;)

Where can I find information about promotions like this? I've looked around the CET rewards website but nothing jumped out at me..

Wondering also if there are any such promotions at Mlife. I see that CET will match Mlife status, so I'd personally rather gamble there and then go pick up a CET diamond card, but maybe it'd be easier to get diamond status at CET..

For CET, Platinum/Diamond in a day is detailed here:

    https://www.caesars.com/myrewards/earn-and-redeem

The problem with matching CET through mLife (or any other casino group) is that you get "no points". You get Diamond status, no resort fees, and the $100 for dinner, but you get no TCs, that means that it you want to go to a Laurel Lounge (when they open back up), you will have to shell out 1000 RCs (per person). No CASH. RCs Only. Plus, AFAIK, you can ONLY do this once.

mLife does match, but you have to jump through several hoops to get a match, and the policies are VERY specific.

You can find some of them HERE (I am not sure how valid/current this website is)

I vote for the $100 BJ session. Won’t do much for your chase to stay platinum, but it would be so much fun!

I feel like 100 BJ could be great or terrible with all that variance! I would love to do VP like JoB or 25 BJ.

So excited for your TR, best of luck!

Have a great time. Just curious, how did you get a King Suite comped as a Platinum? I am Diamond Plus, and on the Caesars website, no such room is listed. Did you book it over the phone? I will be at Harrahs next week.Actually, I think that I just answered my own question. I think since you are only staying 2 nights, that is one of the choices. I am coming in for 7 nights, so I don't get that option on the website. I would probably have to ask for an upgrade at the front desk when I check in.
