Holy cow. Just got back from a "work cation" in the Dominican. We taxied over to the Hard rock because our resort casino didn't have craps. We are all dice players so every night we took the 10-15 minute cab ride.

The dealers absolutely sucked. They didn't pay correctly 25% of the time. They would take away the hard way bets after a shooter would hit the point (not just the point hard way, all of them). So we would have to point it out and they would have to figure out who was on what number and how much. And if they didn't pay you right on you place bets they would give you attitude for having them re do it. Was able to even out after 6 days but, if your gonna go make sure your paying attention. A lot of DRUNK people at the table and I imagine a lot of them dont catch being underpaid.

Just wanted to throw that out there for y'all!

It's good if they're overpaying or paying on loses but that doesn't seem like the case. How are the casinos down there? I've never been but I'm interested in going.

Wish I got to do one of those for work!

    Thanks for the observations!

Stayed for five days last November at this resort and have somewhat of a mixed review.
We had a room close to the ocean which was nice .Unfortunately it was a few doors from where they were doing major renovation construction.
The power saws would start at 7 am and go until 11pm.They moved me after day two to a nice suite.
The resort is massive and spread out over a very large beachfront area.
    Tons of large,well maintained pools.
Played craps every day and did not have too many issues with dealers.A couple incorrect pays from some of less experienced dice dealers but overall pretty good.
I actually knew one of the pit bosses who recognized me from playing at the El San Juan in Puerto Rico.
My friends were a little pissed because it says all inclusive but the bar in the casino is not covered alo0ng with best restaurant on the property which is located inside the casino.
They need to figure something out as the food and service were excellent but the place was empty.

That being said, the overall price was reasonable going in.
The bonus for me at checkout was that I really thought I short played them with maybe 1.5-2 hours a day. They comped everything including my initial price for the room etc.
