Since I am probably celebrating 2017 before everyone else on this board (I am spending NYE in Vienna, Austria), I figured I should be the first to wish everyone here: A happy new year...!!:beer:

I can finally erect that 2017 Thunder From Down Under calendar my brother got me.
He says it's a gag gift, but the jokes on him.
I can't wait to learn about Australian weather patterns for the entire year of--

Happy New Year VMB Community! I am thankful for this site as it gives me hours of enjoyment and planning advice. How many are cooking black eye peas today to bring them more vegas wins in the upcoming year? I have my pot on now and hope they work this year!

I'm not Texan by birth but have lived here a long time and found black eye peas are a real Texas good luck tradition on New Years day - our daughter is cooking fresh ones to go with our pork dinner tomorrow. Black eyed pea salad is a favorite as well.
For me it is an acquired taste....:eek:

It's raining here in L.A. so we decided to stay home. Watching Counting Cars marathon on History Channel. Closest I can get to Vegas tonight. LOL!
