Trips to Las Vegas

It was a very fast paced trip this time. Decided to visit many casinos and keep on the move this trip and had a blast but did wear down quicker than normal. The big take a ways to share with you for this trip is the CET video pokers bars were red hot!!! Not only hit the royal again but was hitting a few hundred bucks on a regular bases. The hottest VP bars were the 3535 bar at the Linq and the Shutters bar at the Rio. The bar. Tenders were great and don't fear the new drink light system. It is design to stop the customer coming up and puttting money in and sitting there drinking free. It's very easy to keep it green and the bar tenders were open in helping customers learn to keep it green. I would also say the one coin players most likely can't keep it green. It's designed for 5 coins. Football and World Series was on all TVs everywhere so enjoyed all the big games while playing. Halloween night was fun. Did the downtown thing. The street was packed and many had costumes on. It was wild. Played VP at the Golden Gate Proabition bar while watching Monday night football. The bar tenders were outstanding there and if you have been there the bar is very close to the dealers who dance and the walk way is tight. People watching and costume watching was huge! The bar was electric and all players were in the party mood and it was just like being at one big Halloween party. Unfortunately the VP machines were the opposite of CET. They were dead. Complete vacuum cleaners. Also most was of the quick and easy food places were gone. Most are sit down places now. I have to give Uber a plug. First time using them. Normally a cab with tip runs 25 bucks from strip to downtown. Uber was 8 bucks no tip. Wow. And it's so easy to use and fast service! Your first ride is free but ask the driver for the free code. I am hooked. Tried White Castle and the fresh hamburgers were perfect. Also tried Smashburger and it was very gross . Food was nasty and service was zero. They don't care about customers. A lot more to share but these were some of the highlights .

Thanks for the report! Congrats on the Royal! Was smashburger at Caesars? Rio? I've had no issues with the location near the outlet mall.

Yeah I would have love to go on Halloween that would be awesome. I have perfect 60s hippie outfit w Afro wig and big ass boot cut jean lol (I won best coustom local contest lol) glad you had great time

thanks for the report.

I was there over Halloween as well, and can't speak for all of the CET bars as most of my play was at Flamingo, Bally's and Rio, but I can tell you that all 3 of those were hopping and a lot of nice hits as well - big 4 of a kinds, and royal's.

One of the banks I play at is right next of one of the bars at Bally's and I can tell you the bartenders were very "pro-active" about telling customers about the new lighting system and it looked like it was working fine for everyone.

I was there during Halloween as well and hit two Royal Flushes at both bars in Bally's and the hubby hit 4 aces with a kicker on a TDB machine at Paris on a .50 denom for his first hand pay in Vegas of $2000.

Vegas balances out, as I lost $3000 over Halloween weekend. lol
