I have been struggling over trying to get a low rental car rate for this Spring. Finally achieved it.
It's not at the airport so that will put some people off. It's at the Hertz at the Marriott Rampart location. The WAX bus from the airport or downtown gets you to the Suncoast next door to the Rampart for only $2. And then it's a 15 minute walk across parking lots to the Rampart.
I got a mid-sized Toyota Corolla for a week for only $161.58...all in! (A compact Nissan Versa would have been $150.27 but I thought I'd spluge)
I used CDP# 000071....this is Southern New Jersey-AAA
I used Promo# 203196....this is a $25 off a weekly rental
Logistics...
Fly into McCarran. Take the Wax downtown. Check into my downtown room (as yet to be determined). The next day take the WAX up to Suncoast and get my car.
Going home: Drop off car at Marriott Rampart. Walk across the parking lots to the Suncoast. Take the WAX downtown. Next day take the WAX to the airport.
