So does this come with the Dining and Airfare benefits? Guess we'll know in October. Anyone know if the offer match is still going? Could fill a hole in some grand plans I have for end of this year and Vegas.
Currently its still in planning phase. Its contingent on certain things falling in place and giving me a reason to do it.
Wow... I'm such a sucker for these matches. I match, then don't use them. I matched Mirage-Hard Rock, never went back. I tier matched Circa, only used my benefits to get out of Garage Mahal free that visit. I matched Palms, the only thing i used was VIP line access for the lobster buffet. I tier matched Fontainebleau last month, enjoyed the property, but not sure I'll get back in 2024 to use my $150. Even met a nice host (they called over a host because I had no valid ID due to wallet-loss) and he said i could send him offers to be considered for offer match. I was assigned one of those marketing reps at Venetian.. his name appeared on my marketing offers as my host. I asked him multiple times about offer matches, even got pushy and told him to stop contacting me if they couldn't offer match... he never could. Now they're tier-matching and there's a potential offer match, and I'm intrigued. Yet, it's entirely possible I'll find a way to match... then never use it. But still, I see a match, and I need to do it.
Well V/P is no longer owned by LV Sands. So maybe new management is more open to these matches. FB food is really good too. You should try it out while you got free $. Maybe its good for a year? I can't remember now.
Thanks I've eaten at FB. it was good. Because the $150 is use it all or forfeit balance, my dining companion insisted on paying, insisted they wouldn't return. I know my matched tier status expires 12/31/24. I just assume the dining benefit will expire with it.
Its possible its that way. The match terms aren't up anymore that I can find. The normal terms say: But, perhaps match is different.
Edit, found the old FB match webpage. (The casinos often just stop, linking to pages, but leave them for future updates.) so my status definitely reverts Jan 1 ............. I don't know. I know the card expires 12/31/24. But maybe, like Wynn, they issue new cards annually. I tier matched Wynn mid-2021. I assumed it expired 12/31 current year. I played enough to enough to make status through next year in December... then realized my matched status was already through next year anyway. Other places, matched tier is only through current year-end. And, if I'm remembering correctly, the current MGM match is only for a calendar quarter.
Re offer match, suggest this thread: https://www.vegasmessageboard.com/forums/index.php?threads/venetian-offer-match.209739/
I don't think the dining benefit expires on 12/31/24 when the match tier status expires. Suggest emailing the rewards desk and inquire.
According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, starting 10/1/24, the Venetian will offer tier matching through the end of the year. Venetian reveals rare tier-match offer | Casinos & Gaming | Business (reviewjournal.com) From the LVRJ, "For the first time since introducing a new player rewards program, a Las Vegas Strip casino is offering to upgrade gamblers’ loyalty cards to a comparable level from other casinos. The Venetian casino-hotel is launching a tier-match promotion that will allow customers to receive a Venetian Rewards card status that is on par with or better than what they currently have with another casino operator. The Venetian Resort Las Vegas’ tier-match event begins Oct. 1, according to a recent email, and will run through Jan. 1. It is unclear if the promotion applies only to new Venetian Rewards customers or if existing customers can participate, which competitor casino cards will be honored or what card levels will be matched."
Look like there are going to start a match program! Love it always wanted to go there and stay but the low level always kept me away
If FB extends their status match it will be interesting to see what matches with what. There might be a diamond+ -> MGM Gold -> Venetian -> FB route that gets you a ton of free stuff up front.
