I wonder how many people even know that. I had a dog for 13 years and never heard about grapes being a problem until now.

I agree that a lot of people don't know. Our last dog loved grapes until I found out they were toxic and quit giving them to her. That dog loved fruit. Watermelon and mango were her favorites.

True, many people may not know but why leave them lying on your sidewalk?

I let my little girl go today. Her health has been so precarious these past few months that trying to decide if it was time became an every day event. The vet allowed me to be with her for which I'm grateful. I'd say she holds the record for cancelled Vegas vacations. Willow was 17.

Sorry to hear you had to say goodbye to your beautiful Willow. It's tough and heartbreaking to make that decision. I'm sure you had 17 wonderful years together.

I’m so sorry, @Catzilla. Willow was a beautiful girl. And we all know that you gave her a wonderful life.

Sending my love to you and your family (feline or otherwise). :blowkiss:

    RIP, Willow.

Oh, @Catzilla, I'm so sorry. Willow looks almost exactly like one of my favorite cats from yesteryear named Sunshine.

I am sorry @Catzilla, it’s all so difficult I know. It’s nice you had her for 17 years and I am sure there were a lot of wonderful memories that you had with her.

Thank you @AlwaysUpForFun @thecarve @booker and @amk121 . I know this is our happy place, but it seems appropriate to share one last picture. Every time I see a post where someone has said goodbye to a loved companion I truly feel and share their sorrow, so maybe it brings us all a little bit closer. I know it helps me to share, if only because it acknowledges that their lives had value, meant something to someone.

I'm so sorry for Willow's passing, @Catzilla. It's so tough when they bring so much to our lives and they have to go because it's best.
Sending you heartfelt condolences and knowing what you're going through. I still miss my baby girl Brindle who passed in April.

Sorry for your loss. It is so difficult. I lost my 15 year old Cocker named Buddy many years ago. Seeing your post made me reminisce fondly of my ole Buddy boy. Bet you have 15 years of wonderful memories.

So, we had this little turd join our family. Meet Olive :) As you can tell, Jack is tolerating her very well.

I was just telling coworkers “No way I want any more pets, they are too much work. If I wanted more responsibility I would have had more kids. Blah blah blah”. About a week later, son calls while I am at work and says he found a kitten stuck in a tree crying loudly. Son was working just out of town down south of where we live when he found her. He and a few coworkers get her safely out of tree and he brings her to our house. He can’t have pets in his apartment. So, $100 vet bill later (she had an issue with one of her eyes and needed shots, deworming, etc.) and I become a sucker and she moves in. Coworkers tell me I am a blow hard and full of hot air trying to be a tough gal lol. Needless to say, she is a welcome addition to our bunch :)
