We are looking for a good sports bar for this Thursday, April 26th to watch Game 7 between the Ottawa Senators and NY Rangers (at 4pm). We will be staying at the Aria so we would like it to be close to there.

    Any recommendations?

    Thanks in advance.

The PUB at Monte Carlo is really good sportsbar near Aria. There is a actually a escalator/hallway that connects the Aria to the Monte Carlo, and the PUB is located in the "Street of Dreams", which is right at the end of the hallway. It's less than a five minute walk from your room. The food is great, they have tons of TV's, and they have over 30 beers on tap.

This might be too obvious, but the Aria sports book is another solid choice. Also, I've never tried the skybox sports bar and grill in Aria, but that's another option.

Nope, not too obvious because I didn't know that Aria had a sports bar. I looked on their website and it isn't listed under nightclubs/bars, it is listed under dining so I didn't see it. In any case, we'll check out the Skybox Sports Bar & Grill. I have no idea what a "sports book" is! I am a Vegas newbie.

Thanks to both of you for your suggestions.

A sports book is a place where you place sports wagers. Typically there are chairs where you can relax to watch the game and order drinks. It's worth noting, it isn't required to place a bet to relax in a sports book.

    Here's a photo of Aria's sports book:

    Nice suggestion Pop.

Skybox has even better food than the Pub, and the chairs in the Aria sportsbook are very comfortable (there are even some couches in there). You should have no problem getting a seat either, as its a Wednesday night.

There is also Blondies in the Miracle Mile. That should be pretty close.

Diablos out in front of Monte Carlo is decent for sports. As I watch more sports in LV I learn that I don't like watching them in sports books. Too many people who aren't actually fans of a team, but actually fans of a ticket. And chances are you'll have someone around you who losses is mind because he bet too much on the game and lost.

If you are staying at Aria I would recommend their sports bar or The Pub at Monte Carlo. Another choice would The Sporting Zone at NYNY.

We were in Las Vegas last week and had no problem finding the hockey games playing somewhere.
