Time to untrim the tree, get the lit wreath down outside, and the rest of the inside stuff.Tomorrow the kids will be here to help me lug containers up on to the garage shelfs and up the ladder into the attic..
I know some folks keep the place decorated well into the new year, not us enough is enough till next year.

That was #1 on the "honey-do" list my bride left me this morning.
    Mission Accomplished!

While taking down the stockings I found there was something left in my stocking this year after all.
Santa left me a pack of Garbage Pail Kids!

I took everything down and put away on Monday. I wanted my house back to normal.

I took down all the decorations and put it all back in their boxes and sent them down to the basement. Unfortunately a section of lights burned out on our pre-lit tree, so it's still up in the living room. Dan's going to try to fix it tomorrow. If not, it goes to the dump and we'll get a new tree for next year while they are still on deep-discount at the stores.

We started Thursday. We hang big plastic balls on our lilac bushes. We had a wind storm coming Thursday night, so DH took them down. I put away the stockings and the 30 inch stuffed Christmas figures yesterday. Dh is doing the ourside lights today and the two trees are coming down tomorrow. Love the holidays, but since the stuff goes up right after Thanksgiving, we have celebrated long enough.

We're lazy. Some years the inside decorations are up until February.
