question, i was walking thru the nugget early one morning this past August and noticed that the majority of the blackjack had that damn spin wheel and was told it was mandatory to place a min $1 bet for the wheel.
The dealer told me i could go to a $25 table and i dont have to play the wheel even though the sign was on the table.

my question is, are all the blackjack tables at the nugget putting the spin wheel game on them. They began putting them in the front of the casino but I noticed now more in the middle of the casino. just seeing if anyone can remember if they are all changing over .
    Thanks

Not a fan of the mandatory bonus spin. House edge on that spin is something like 8 to 12%. Pretty atrocious on top of the 6:5 BJ that they pay out for $5 "BJ".

That's astonishing, I would be talking a pass on that game. If 6:5 was not bad enough:thumbsdown:

Totally agree about 6:5 and to add that damn wheel on top of it. I know they added more as you walk towards the craps tables too. Hoping they have some without.

Just wanted to agree. That game got me in downtown a few years ago when I was a blackjack noob. My first spin I won $40 and thought it was the greatest thing ever until my subsequent spins only got me $5 and the rest of my money disappeared quite unceremoniously.
At 4 queens u had the options of 6/5 blackjack, or a big sign advertising 3/2 blackjack but with this mandatory sidebet. So wack. This past trip in July I saw a ton of these tables, even on the strip casinos! even paying 6/5. Such a scam.

Edit: do they even publish odds of winning each tier of prize? I've never seen it so I assume it's atrocious

It’s like selling the traditional 5 lb bags of sugar that only weigh 4.5 lbs.
People are buying it….make up some 4.2 lb bags…..let’s see where we can go with this.

Hoping things have improved………for all of us
