I got a survey from The Golden Nugget asking about if I was planning to visit Vegas when my
favorites NHL team was in town.

    Might be planning ticket/room packages?

    BTW, it's The Flyers.

Habs play in Vegas on Feb. 17. I'm planning a trip around the game. Might attend a second game on the same trip. I see this becoming an annual tradition.

I was just checking out a trip for the Dec 14 Pens game. Southwest direct flights for the days before outbound and the weekend inbound are sold out. Guess I am not the only one who wants to go from the Pittsburgh area.

Got the same survey from the Nugget, Breeze. It will be interesting to see what develops from this. I too am a Blackhawks fan, but would go to see any teams play while in Vegas as I like hockey.

Good plan! I would really like to see McDavid live. (In the NHL that is. I did see him several times here in London, ON when his Erie Otters came to visit)

I would love to get a nice offer. My son and a I already have tickets for the Flyers game in February. I do have a comped room at the Flamingo for sat, sun, and mon but I will listen to others.

I've been wondering which casinos might start offering VGK ticket comps. I imagine most of them have suites or seat blocks. The D announced a partnership, right?

I booked an extra trip to Vegas to catch the Pens game. It will be interesting to see how the season plays out for VGK in terms of ticket sales, resale prices, and attendance.

My problem is that I've never been to Vegas in the Winter.

    Shame we lost Bellemare, eh?

I liked him but they have others to take his place.

I've been yhere in March and did have some pool time, but I do not expect any in February. Problem will be getting out of philly - that's why we come in a day early.

It will be my (adult) son's first trip to Vegas. His wife is pissed off that she is not invited. But I have a trip for everyone (wife, son, daughter and spouses) pencilled in for 2020: Eagles vs Raiders.

My ultimate Vegas trip would be to catch the Patriots playing the Raiders and then catching the Bruins and the Knights!!

I added a trip for the Bruins game. Right now I am double booked at Palazzo and Cosmo, but I doubt either of them will have ticket offers. If one of them does (and in a timely manner), that will be where I stay, but I am impatient and will likely buy a ticket as soon as they go on sale. I am pretty excited about it as going in to Boston for a game is both cost prohibitive and a pain in the ass.

Maybe, maybe not. I think stubhub will do a great business ( maybe you consider Them scalpers). I am not flying from Philadelphia to Vegas for a game unless I have the tickets lined up in advance.

Wondering if CET or MGM bought up a section to hand out as part of a comp offer. If that is even possible.

Sure, corporations do this as standard practice. You can bet the big operators are doing the same.

I'd be shocked if all the major casinos in the area didn't buy up blocks of tickets and/or suites.

I'm interested in how this is going to affect the resale market. Here in DC I usually buy tickets 24-48 hours before a game. The only exception being playoff games that I absolutely don't want to miss (when the Pens are playing). I've gotten some great deals that way.

I'm hoping to hit up two pre-season games when I'm in Vegas in September and then hoping to get a ticket to the Pens game in December. I don't think I'm a high enough roller to get ticket offers from any of my casinos, so I'll be looking to pay cash on the resale market.
