I’m interested in coming to Las Vegas for hockey game vs the blackhawks in December. I am better off trying to get a ticket through stubhub or Ticketmaster exchange?

I would check FlashSeats. You can download the app and it'll show you games for which tickets are available. FlashSeats is the ticketing system the Golden Knights use, so once you buy the ticket it'll show up in your FlashSeats app and you're good to go.

    I'm a TickPick guy.

I'll go to great lengths to avoid Ticketmaster.

I haven't check this upcoming season but last season the tickets were ridiculous, even more than I paid for first ever game in October 2017. Are the coming season's tickets pretty high as well?

Yea, I haven’t bought hockey tickets in awhile before this and they are quite pricey

I see there are a few games on while I'm there, so going to try and make one of their December games myself.

Rob Lowe in Youngblood is about the level of my exposure to Ice-Hockey.

Oh, and Daniel Negreanu's early WSOP vlogs have some action from the games in them :D

Yes. And the Blues particularly suck. Bah. The first game against the Blues also includes an entry to a college game afterward. It's ~60 more dollars than the other regular season game for nose bleeds. 172 vs. 112.

The game in St. Louis? Totally sold out, but as cheap as $42/ea on stub hub for nosebleed.

Last Monday I logged on the team website when the single game tickets went on sale. I was shocked at the prices and just plan to continue to buy day of the game for better deals. Since I am buying a single ticket I have always been able to find a decent seat at a decent price at the last minute. The only problem I have ever had is the slow confirmation from seatgeek or stubhub, so my advice is do not wait too late and buy at least a couple of hours before the game.

I don't know if they do it for regular-season games, but during the playoffs, just watching out on the plaza was pretty fun, not to mention free.

Is it legal to buy tickets from scalpers on the street? If so, are there many available?

There are no scalpers because there are no hard tickets. Everything is done with AXS which has replaced Flash Seats for tickets. I am a partial season ticket holder and belong to several VGK Facebook groups. Check out the VGK ticket exchange and buy/sell ticket groups. You must have an AXS account. The original six teams will always be more expensive. But you have to look at it like this: how much would you pay for Cirque du Soleil tickets? Trust me, a VGK game at T-Mobile is well worth the price, especially for a visitor. The park is full of fans, home and opposing, and all the bars and restaurants are full (Beerhaus and the places in NYNY). An hour before game time there's a parade that starts in the casino and winds it way through the park to the arena. Drum line, cheerleaders, showgirls, and the Golden Knight getting the crowd crazy and yelling GO KNIGHTS GO.

Can you purchase tickets at the arena box office?

What are the chances of getting tickets outside the venue just before or just after the start of the game?... Are there deals to be had? I don't mind watching the second and third period if it's only going to cost me face value of ticket.

Im gonna need a single ticket. I was thinking of waiting to the last minute. Stubhub is thay slow? Thanks for the advice.

Do you usually get a lot of fans for the visitors. Since I'm alone dont want to have any issues with fans but doesn't seem like a dangerous stadium like others. Thinking of coming from Toronto for the November game

    Thanks

AXS is the official ticket site. Check the Facebook groups for VGK ticket buy/sell. Oh, there will be plenty of opposing fans but everyone has a great time. Vegas fans are welcoming and there's a big party on the Park (T-Mobile Plaza) for a couple of hours before the game.

It's far from a dangerous stadium. It's probably the best atmosphere of any arena I have been to in awhile. It's Vegas there are lots of visiting fans.

There is quite a tailgate party in the Park area before the game. Beer tents and entertainment mind you we go during Christmas season generally.

Tickets are cheaper on the resell sites (generally) because you are buying them from season ticket holders who get a price break. Just dig around the various sites for different prices but remember there are fees as well. Still cheaper then buying direct from the Knights site. I believe I used Vivid Seats for both games I have been to.

When you enter the arena look over top of you and u will see a walkway going back towards the entry doors. It leads to the outdoor smoking area which is a huge outdoor area with a bar, heaters and couches etc. It shuts down prior to the game like 15 or 20 minutes but you get a great view of The Park area.

Edit: The smoking area doesn't shut down. They close the bar down prior to the game

No problem for visiting fans in Vegas. Every game I have been to visiting fans have been very well represented, especially the original six . Yes the Knights have a very strong following but money talks and some fans will gladly part with their tickets at highly inflated prices for individual games. Singles are much more reasonable but do not last very long.

That being said, since the Leafs only have one game against Vegas on the road, these tickets will be at a premium and difficult to find. If I were you I would definitely purchase my ticket before I arrived in town. I just bought a single for the game against the Avs on the 25th because it was a single, good seat near the ice at a decent price. You will need to check daily and snatch a good single quickly when it pops up.

If you wait until game day it is hit or miss. If you are coming in town primarily for the game I would not take that chance for a high demand opponent like the Leafs, especially if you want more than just any seat in the building.

Which would be the best game to see?

I'm there for a couple weeks from the 8th, but only land as that game is kicking off.

    10th - Chicago Blackhawks
    15th - Vancouver Canucks
    17th - Minnesota Wild

It looks a similar layout to when the UFC is on, so will probably go for the cheaper tickets here, rather than the lower ones for UFC.
