Wanting to do something different this trip and wanted to get people's opinion of the GG suites (seen to many negatives on their basic rooms)? How are the beds? Enough space? How are the bathrooms? Thanks...

They're very nice...comfortable...free keurig+pods... couch...walk-in shower...set in the back, so very little FSE noise...
I'l see if I can find the old thread on this where I posted pics of my suite

They are great. It's a stretch to say they are a true suite but I'd put them on par with a standard Golden Nugget Rush Tower room except with additional space for a couch.

The one nice thing about those suites is how quick they are to the casino floor if that matters to you.

I loved the one I had in April. I could only afford it on a Cyber Monday half-price offer from Vegas.com, but totally worth it at that price.

I agree, worth it. While I'm sure it's not related, this past time was the first time I've paid to upgrade a standard comp room to the suite, and this is also the first time in many years I haven't been extended a comp offer.... :(
