I’m going to be nearby Tunica this week and was curious if anyone knew if the $50 monthly buffet credit for mLife Gold Members (listed in the property’s tier benefits) is available for any gold players or just those whose “home casino” is Tunica.

Yes. I’m pretty sure it’s just a benefit any gold member receives.

I'm going to be in the neighborhood in a few weeks and am surprised they have a buffet open. (All shut down around here)
Do you know if they serve the food or bring it to your table?

A bit off topic, but wondering if they do any tier matching at Gold Strike?
I think I've only seen it mentioned being done in Atlantic City.

I’ve seen a promotion in the past but don’t think it’s current. If I go, I’ll ask at the desk and report back.

I'd ask and make sure it is only a buffet credit, you might be able to use it at the other food outlets.

I know the current mailers are calling it a "food" credit instead of "xxx usuable at buffet"

And it goes without saying, in Tunica, charge everything to the room and talk to a host before checking out.

    surely this won't go kaput

They don’t have the benefit. It’s on their website and the lady I spoke with on the phone as we drove up said they have it for all members who are gold but....

We went to the buffet and they had no idea what we were talking about, sent me to the kiosk to activate (thinking it was a marketing offer). Nothing there (I had already checked; this ain’t my first rodeo).

Go to the host desk because the mLife desk is closed and they have no idea what I’m talking about. Show them the website. “Sorry you don’t have any marketing offers.” I’m not shocked that I didn’t get it but it was weird that nobody had any sense that regular visitors were getting this perk. Weird.

Oh and no tier matching. Went next door to Horseshoe to play instead and scooped up $33 in some nickel slots. I’ll take it.

I was there 2 weeks ago and used the platinum $75 monthly buffet offer. Hopefully it hasn’t changed. Sometimes the buffet cashier just doesn’t want to look for it on your profile. It’s actually not a marketing offer but a tier benefit, should have been available. When I was there I also had a $75 marketing offer I used at steakhouse along with the Monthly buffet offer

Yeah, I tried explaining it’s a tier benefit and everyone gold should get it but they kept saying “you don’t have any offers.” Ugh.

    Oh well.

That's annoying, I don't play mlife much, do they have a host on duty?
I recently visited a small CET location I hadn't been to before, they said they aren't doing comps due to covid, yet plenty of locals had food comps/coupons... Don't see myself returning there anytime soon unless they give me some reason to.
