    Staying at GC for 5 nights ( 2 rooms booked) .....so what would the $20 trick get me?

    I don't think it will get you much, but I have never tried the trick there. I'd be interested to know how you get on.

    Don't bother with it at GC...just ASK NICELY for a "premium" room, rather than a "standard" (Even though there NOT much different; but try it anyway)

    That's what I thought Tim. They have so few suites, I think an upgrade to one of those is unlikely.

    Tim.....thanks for your input.
    I'm staying in the Tower room and hoping that the rooms are above "average".
    Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

    pretty much on the spot.
    I believe most if not all of their suites are for comped guests, in other words, they are allocated to casino marketing department.
    Front desk can't give to you even if they are empty for the night.
    For the same reason, you can rarely book a suite online if you are not comped.
