I made it safely back home with my winnings! It's 50 degrees and raining here. I almost didn't get off the plane! :kill:

Just a few thoughts of the trip!
Vegas is definitely getting back to its normal busy self, especially on weekends and in the more popular places. Cosmo was even hopping on Tuesday and Wednesday night. A few casinos are starting to remove plastic barriers from the tables. Can't specifically remember which ones, but this was the word from people here and there. 6 foot of distancing is long gone, nobody is even adhering to the 3 feet, although, personally I think 3 feet should be the norm for "personal space". The places I went, mask usage was pretty good. I got "talked to" once at Cosmo for eating something on the floor and not putting my mask back up between bites. Outdoors many people, including us, take masks off. Although I would put them on when it got crowded.

Martorano's was awesome as always. Old Homestead was "OK". Jaleo was delicious. NFI, also just ok.

I'm sure I'll think of a few things to add tomorrow as I settle back in. There will also be video vlog coming up and I will post the playlist link once it's set up.

Thanks to everyone who followed along!
Ok, I'm off to plan my next trip!

Another great report and pics. I thought Olde Homestead was just "ok" as well. My wife is meh on Mortaranos, had one of my favorite meals in Vegas there. My wife will not be going to Vegas with me in September. Guess who is going to Mortaranos?

Glad to hear you went home a winner!

Cosmopolitan was ridiculously packed when I checked in on Monday. Tuesday was better.

It seems like a lot of people are over Covid and have no problems plopping themselves right next to me at machines. I was still not comfortable with this (I got my second shot today) so I did not enjoy this portion of my trip.

I don't like people in general so I am not applauding the return of normalcy to Vegas. I liked it better when I had it to myself so I will go back to my week before Christmas trips, when it is dead.

Thanks for following! And congrats on your earlier winning trip!

Seemed like Monday and even Tuesday, the check-in line was packed whenever we walked by.
And I'm with you, I enjoy the quietness of my December trips. However, I am happy that Vegas is able to get back to Vegas, even though I am not a fan of crowds!

This is why I almost never stay over a weekend. I like the lull of 1pm on a Tuesday on the Strip and by the time evening rolls around, I'm lubricated up enough that I can tolerate the weekday crowds for walks between casinos. I'll admit I'm a little nervous about staying downtown this next trip mainly because I've seen how busy FSE can get even on a Wednesday night. Not nervous in the Covid sense, but in the "get out of my f'n bubble" sense.

One of my most enjoyable trips was the week before Christmas. No crowds and super easy to get show tickets.
