    My Trip Report

Thank you, you’ve just proved that click bait advertising works.

I think I enjoy writing my pre-trip ambles more than writing the actual TR itself. Why? Because it’s written at a calm pace and allows me to organize my trip.

I don’t know how people manage and find the time to do live TR’s, I’ve tried once and it failed, so I will try to do brief periodic updates / questions. We’re not renting a car, so maybe while waiting for my driver, while I’m in the car or waiting for others to get ready is when I can do my updates.

There are only 3 main stars (Myself, L, and S) to this production, to ensure that we don’t go over production budget, and much like history is written in the eyes of the victor, this will be written in my eyes.

    Purpose: Bachelor party for Me

Method of Travel: SWOOP Airlines, this is a budget carrier (seems like they’re all budget carriers these days). Similar to Spirit Airlines, a tin can on wings. This carrier is so budget that they charge for carry-ons, so we paid a little more to have our bags checked. I’ve never flown this carrier before, so I’m a bit nervous as I’ve heard there tends to be delays (seems like that’s part of the ‘trait’ of a budget carrier).

    Agenda:

Friday – Landing @ 9PM, slumming it at The STRAT for 2 nights, check-in, go eat, drink, rippers

Saturday – ATV riding during the day (Groupon), drink, rippers

Sunday – From Slumdogs to Millionaires (check in at Cosmo), Cosmo day pool party, dinner at Camelot (MyVegas), drink, rippers

Monday – ketchup bar?, coupon run, gamble, dinner at Bellagio Buffer (MyVegas), drink, rippers

Tuesday – Sugar Factory, Flight at 10:15PM

    Objectives:

    · Stick to the plan, but as you can read, it’s more of a rough outline with not much planned, so adhering to it shouldn’t be too hard

    · Gamble more that I usually do (BJ, VP, Slots) (1)

    · Drink more than I usually do (1)

    · $100 through HL VP and/or slots (2)

    (1) I say I want to do this every trip, but I think it’s going to happen this time around because not much sight-seeing and no shows planned, also ‘cause I’m usually with my GF and we look for activities to do and we usually rent a car, where I’m driving, so I don’t drink that much

    (2) I also say that I want to do this every time, it sounds like a great idea when I’m 2,300 miles away, but when I’m standing there in front of the machine, I don’t have the nerve. Maybe I should try and make this my Vegas tradition, won’t break the bank, but may make the trip!

    Confessions:

o I’m worried that I might get too intoxicated and drunk text something I might regret, maybe getting a data plan wasn’t such a great idea after all

o I’m worried that my bankroll might not be big enough for this trip considering how I’m going to be putting in more hours gambling

o I’ll play $25 a hand at the BJ table, but if you ask me to do $3 a spin on a slot machine, I’ll hesitate

There’s many casino loyalty programs out there (CET, MGM, Cosmo, Wynn, etc) and there’s only 1 bankroll from me, so I say this every trip as well, I’m gonna give most of my action to one company and one company alone, and this trip will be Cosmo (Because Cosmo has overtaken my love for Wynncore), but let’s face it, that never happens, ‘cause of shiny lights and bells.

Oh and in case you haven’t figured it out by now the GGW in my title stands for Guys Gone Wild, but much like everything else in Hollywood the trailer is usually better than the actual film, so don’t get your hopes too high on the Wild part.

After this trip will be the wedding in the next few weeks, so I probably won’t have time to do a full write-up, but I’ll still try. So if it does come out, it’ll probably happen about a month later.

It’s 4AM back at the hotel now. Total missing from my pocket $270.

Ended up at a place where they Rhino, if you know what I mean.

Must have been a 2:1 ratio, crazy

A low roller like yourself needs to stay away from places like Wynn. They won’t even know that you existed for future offers....

Stick to the Rhino”s for this trip....it might be your last blast....
