Getting to the strip on NYE

I understand everything shuts down nye. But surely if you are staying downtown there is still a way to get to the hotels? Will the taxies drop you off in the back of the hotels? I dont mind walking but there has to be a way to get from downtown to the strip early evening? Dropped off at either end of the strip Circus circus or mgm?

theres busses , strip closes at 5 pm , take the monorail from sls

oe the back way i belive industrial might work for part of it or paridiise

I dont mind doing a hop skip and jump. Even if I could make it to SLS I can walk to where I need to walk. but I just need to beable to get from downtown to somewhere near the strip.
