    Of course not.

You'll do fine with your $499 guaranteed to smoke the book system.

All the more reason to heed this advice.

If this is true, move out there as soon as you can and start making smallish bets to learn your way around. You need to be set up with somewhere to live and know your way around the area and the books you like/will take your action.

That way when football season rolls around you'll have some experience with the books. You don't want to be worried about all that while you're also trying to determine what games to bet.

And, if you think you've found a system that will help you win over the long term, give up the dream. No system has ever worked long term.

But I also wish you the best of luck.

Just some general information on the sports betting apps. You do not have to be a resident of Nevada you just have to be within the state of Nevada. I currently have Cantor, William Hill and Stations. If your bank roll is 80-100K you will not have any problem getting your money into action. If you want to bet 100K on 1 game may have to go to several books to get it all in but you can easily do that.
I believe stations allows you to make deposits via credit cards to there sports accounts. Other than that it's all cash as far as I know.
I know a lot of guys that call themselves professional gamblers but only a few who really support themselves totally through betting.
Several of the apps offer cash back on the amounts you bet. I know a William Hill has been offering 1% back and cantor has cash back promo. The swings are mighty but it's a wild ride betting for a living. I currently play poker and sports bets and it's fun but can be stressful.

The more I read this thread, the more I think the OP could be a law enforcement agent. The OP pretends to be very naïve with a huge bankroll--sounds like the perfect bait to entice someone into connecting the OP with their local bookie . . . .

I highly doubt ill ever make a single game 100k wager. That just sounds insane haha
I think high end I might be doing a few 15-20k bets a month.
But there does seem to be some discrepancy here on bet limits. Someone previously said a $200-500 cap is most common. Now im hearing more 10k and up limits.

If its mostly cash only I would feel really nervous walking around with that much cash.
    Thank you

Depends on the book and the game. Not sure where the cap is only a few hundred dollars. Never done a survey of the various vegas books, but I have never personally encountered a cap that low. A 20k bet shouldn't be a problem on most games. At worst, you may have to split the wager between two casinos.

As for carrying cash, carrying a few straps of hundreds is no big deal. You're posting on here about entering a cash enterprise, so you need to get comfortable carrying cash around if you're serious

    Thanks ukfanatic
A friend of mine at work that's been to vegas a lot was saying crime on the main strip is pretty low, but a lot more seedy once you get off the main drag. He said he had some guy following him for a few blocks till him and his wife snuck into a store and lost him. Since my apt would likely be off the strip im just worried about that commute in between.

I love the post below about only placing a few $15k-$20k bets per month. With a bankroll of $80-$100k, there is virtually no way this wont be a train wreck within a few months...if it is real. Which I doubt.

A few months? At that level of betting and that bank roll, perhaps bankruptcy within 20-30 bets.

Ahh ok I think ive figured out why you guys are so absolutely positive I will loose all my money. Because you think I bet the same as you. No im not an arrogant loudmouth that blathers on about how sure they are of a games outcome when they know nearly nothing at all about the teams playing. Glad I can bring some amusement to your days.

You're a novice better who is talking about making a few bets per month that is around 25% of your bankroll. Why wouldn't we think that this has a great chance at going horribly?

Some people are being real with you. I lurk at wizard of vegas, take this over there and you will change you opinion quick.

If you wanna hear only how well it would go then return to your dream. It of course can go well, but those mega resorts aren't so big because it is easy.

Actually, VMB is far and away the friendliest vegas message board. The attacks you would receive on other boards would have been much more personal and vicious in nature. Just try them out and see. There is a lot of reason to be skeptical that you have some different way of betting than other gamblers who lose their money. That's not a personal attack on you and I hope you find the information you're looking for on this board. Its just pretty obvious based on your posts. If you're serious about becoming a pro sports bettor, you're probably going to be out of business before the end of the football season. Hope I am wrong. You haven't, however, posted anything to suggest that you have some sort of insight that will make you more successful than the recreational gambler.

How do you bet, in your simulations?
Since you don't know how we bet, how do you know it is not the same?
