I love Davidoff. They are super helpful when you want to try something new. How was the cigar? Can't say that I have tried that one but might on a good recommendation.

I would say a medium strong, fullbodied cigar. Spicy like black pepper, but also there is a bit of sweetness during the entire smoke. Reminded me of real dark chocolate. I really enjoyed it!

So here is a short recap of gambling this evening.

Did take 800$ from the handpay money to the highlimit slots, and tried a 10$ two credit Wheel of Fortune slot for 20$ a spin. Exactly halfway through the money with not a single win at all, a spin bonus came and hit for.... *insert drumroll here* 400$ :nworthy:

That had to be a sign. Cashed out and started to play my regular bankroll for today.
No really big hits there, but some decent bonusrounds on Buffalo Grand and Tarzan.

About even for today, so i'm happy with that. But i am really tired, must be of all the stripwalking today. Guess i should take out the rental tomorrow for a nice daytrip. We'll see....

What was this crap about poor English skills? Your TR are as eloquently written as any. I’m enjoying your adventures.

So i decided to take my rental on a nice daytrip to Laughlin. I have never been there before, and i simply love to explore new locations, and i also love to drive around a bit... so easy and stressless compared to what i witness on my daily way to work.

I also do like the landscape in the desert. Locals might find it rather boring, considering that it is basically nothing more than dust, stones and rocks. However, for me it is quite mesmerizing to drive for almost an hour with no other vehicles around at all.

I finally made it into Laughlin and made a quick stop at In-and-out Burger. Burger, fries and medium soda for 6.10$ plus tax? Might be hard to find in Vegas...

After that healthy lunch (hey, there is salat and tomatoes on the Burger; that HAS to be healthy!), i started to drive around and explore the casinos there.

Here are some pics out of Laughlins thrilling gamblinghalls:

My goal was to give every casino 40$ in pennyplay, just to see where it might take me.
But i felt somehow completely out of place everywhere, because i was the only one under 50, everyone else was very certainly 70+ at best.

Drinkservice was also of a none excisting kind. At the Aquarius i did even see an elderly lady with a very small tray trembeling dangerously through the aisles, and i suspected that the poor woman had to get her beverages herself.
Later i did find out that SHE Indeed was the loval CW...

If there is any vibe whatsoever going on in Laughlin, i didn't get it. Maybe i will think different about it, when i'll be 70+ myself some day! but not just now.

I left in the afternoon and headed back to Las Vegas. On my way i had a good laugh as two Idiots where speeding heavily about 5 miles into Searchlight. Speedlimit, anyone?

Did meet them again a few minutes later, as both of them had been pulled over for a friendly chat with the local Law enforcement community.

Diner today was at Tender Seakhouse at the Luxor.

Again a nice filet, sides of garlic mashed potatoes and mushrooms with onions, paired with a Stone IPA. Everything was excellent, really loved the garlic mashed potatoe! Had to go for a pour of GlenMorangie to finish the meal.

Gambling was pretty good today, going up and down all evening with some decent hits on different slots.
Didn't count it up exactly, but up for the day for about 400$.

Searchlight is a well known speed trap. The limit drops fro 70 to 25 in a blink, if its night, and you never been through there, it’s easy to get a ticket. I did about 13 years ago.

And here we go again, another daytrip today.

Got up a little late today, but it is vacation, so who cares?
Refilled the rental and drove up all the way to Beatty and then made a first stop in Rhyolite.

It was really chilly up there, and even some snow managed to be still alive in the shadows of the ruins.
Visiting ghosttowns or other "lost places" is something i really like to do. The peace and serenity of those places always reminds me that nature will always still be there, when mankind and all of their belongings will have turned to dust again way before. What a contrast to the ever glittering world of "bright light city"

Let's have some pics to admire the remains of manmade structures:
