To be honest, I’ve done sessions for up to 5 hours in the past. But since I won‘t return to Las Vegas until next year, I wanted to have it done in one session. It was kind of hard the last two hours, but the artist and me shared a few breaks for a cigarillo smoke (about 15 minutes), so I was able to survive it

So, the tattoo basically has two parts. On the lower arm there are two crossed pistons and hovering above them is the rotor from a rotary engine (Like the Mazda RX-7 and RX-8 have). Being a car guy ever since, and having owned an RX-8, these parts represent my passion for fast cars of all kinds.

The upper part shows (when it’s healed) the pocketwatch from my grandfather. It belonged to his grandfather, so is basically in the family for at least five generations now. The time is exactly the time the watch stopped after he did wind it up the last time before passing away. We left the watch standing like this as a memory or a tribute to him.

And in between the two big parts are the Initials of my grandfather and grandmother, printed in old german letters from the Kaiserzeit (imperial germany) which fits pretty well hence they were born in 1907 and 1909, so their childhood actually took place during Kaiserzeit.

Took a short trip to Primm today for a quick visit of Buffalo Bills and Whiskey Pete’s. How do these places manage to stay alive? Completely dead inside, hardly anyone gambling on the casinofloor. Funniest experience was the lady at the cashier inside Buffalo Bills: She was sitting away from the only open window in the backside of the cage and was sleeping on duty. Had to wake her up to get a chip for my collection.

I left this depressing place shortly after and decided that gazing at a bunch of colorful painted stones would be much more interesting. Away to the seven magic mountains I went.

It was pretty chilly there and windy. But still, there were a few other visitors around, all wearing coats and scarfs and other warming clothes. I was walking around with no jacket and a short sleeved shirt. Well... talk about people from Northern Europe. They don‘ t freeze. It‘s like that!

Meanwhile, back at home: Sad puppy is still sad...

Had a very nice evening with @Imaginos at the Davidoff Lounge yesterday. We had a few drinks, cigars and cigarillos. As I am moving to Downtown today, we will try to meet up there again on thursday for some gambling. Will report back after arriving at DTG. To pass the time, here are some views of nighttime stripwalking. Some views never get old for me...

I had a great time. Thanks again for introducing me to some awesome cigars. I hope your move downtown goes smoothly today. I'm looking forward to hanging out again.

A note for the kids out there... Sometimes meeting strangers from the Internet works out pretty well.

Thanks for the pics inside of whiskey petes, I’ve been thinking of going one of these trips just to go somewhere I’ve never been, guess I haven’t because I’ve pictured the place just how you described it! Reminds of the terribles casino by seven magic mountains, I’ve never understood how that place survives either.

Definite thanks for inside pictures of Primm. Have fond memories of the Bonnie and Clyde car and the arcade at Buffalo Bills from when I was a kid.

Just arrived at DTG. Premium King Room on a high floor facing the mountains, so away from all the noise of FSE and Hogs&Heifers. I‘m happy with that!

A few smaller slotwins this morning back at NYNY, and I finally made it to platinum at Mlife. Hope to catch some good roomdeals next year.

Now I’m going to get some food and then hit the Casino!

So, quick recap of yesterday evenings events...

After my little and joyful smokebreak at Binions, I roamed around FSE a bit, just to enjoy the lights and all the craziness out there. I really don’t mind the sometimes questionable attractive performers there, they can be pretty funny. But those pesky bucket drummers on every second spot annoy me. One per street would be ok, but four or five within a short distance? They weren‘t even good by any chance...

Anyway, some pics of the FSE, like in countless other reports before :D :

As I returned to DTG, I found a very open slot and played on it for almost 4 hours! It was like a rollercoaster, always up and down and very entertaining!

In for 100, finally out for
    BC9450AE-C280-4E1C-859E-B9508AD9C809.jpeg

During all the slotting, I managed to get to the next level of the club in just one session. Oops :headbang:

    84C69AC6-FCE1-4142-AE18-7AB30A603037.jpeg

Now after a long and relaxing sleep it’s time to go out again. Plans for today so far: Having Lunch with @Imaginos and wife, followed by some gambling.

No idea yet what to do in the evening, but it is Vegas, so I’m cool with it... just let it roll and see what might come up!

Lunch with @Imaginos and his wife at Chicago Brewing at QQQQ was really good! Had the clubsandwich with fries and Weizenheimer wheatbeer. As being german, that name made me laugh a bit, because it seemed to be like „ we make it sound german, that stands for quality and good beer“ but hands down: That stuff was really tasty and very close to a real authentic german wheatbeer. When you are into that kind of beer, give it a try!

    884E51ED-53E4-4D92-879A-CCB209A92FB7.jpeg

We then played bubblecraps for quite some time, just to help me understand the very basic rules, but I guess if have to get myself some kind of Craps app to practice for the next trip.
Was in for 100 and out for 122 and a few drinks. I‘m pretty happy with that!

We had a nice cigar and a drink at Binions outsidebar and chatted for a long time on different topics, which I really like to do. It helps me to get a better understanding how living in the US really is. A lot of views and experiences you just can’t get on tv or the news.

After @Imaginos had to Uber back to the hotel, i was shopping around for some souvenirs and now back at the room, taking a quick nap, and then hit the casino again.
