Since we ARE talking CET, I can't tell if that is sarcasm or not.

Great M&G yesterday! Thanks for planning, @WelshBlonde .

About 25 people, or so, all mulling around the Chandelier bar in Cosmo. I brought name tags and some vp players were kind enough to share drink tickets (I got so friggin drunk...again) and even access to the players lounge for a few drinks.

Slot pull was a wash. After about 1/2 hour of play we all got our $100 back.

Really enjoyed putting a face to all these names. Really nice people.

    1) The slot pull.
    2) Not sure of this drink...too drunk. Possibly a Boulevardier, possibly not. Ha ha.
    3) Used two drink tickets for this Oban 14.
    4) And lastly, 2 compatriots from the group who gave me the drink tickets to get fully plastered. Really great guys. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

I'm bummed I wasn't there for the meet and greet. Looks like a great time!
I can't believe you still have a whole week to go. I think I would be dead by now. LOL

Actually, after all that booze and stumbling into bed at 6:00am, I do feel dead...but had to check out at 11:00 and move to the Rio. Ugh.
Currently downtown about to find out what the Summit is all about.

This is such a fun read. As I'm stuck at work.

Absolutely enjoying your TR, SMerrian. Rio looks sweet. Why don't you take a break if you are feeling "dead"! I'm sure you will recover:D

Rio room looks great. Funny that we both gambled until about the same time this morning. Lol.

    The Summit.
This is an event co-held by a podcast, Five Hundy by Midnight, and a group, The Vegas Nerd Society.
The podcast basically just discusses news and things relevant to Las Vegas and then people call in and all things LV are discussed live. A lot of followers.
They have a bunch of events for their attendees mostly taking place downtown. I don't know these people and have a full schedule so when I was told at registration that you had to pre-register I just thought I'd skip.
Could I have made new acquaintances? Maybe.
Ready? I don't know what a podcast is. I'm a time traveler from a past century, literally. I think it's like a radio show on your iPod? I've never had an iPod, nor can I get ear buds to stay in my shallow ears so this is something that will never be part of my life.
    No Summit for me.

Also, functioning on 3 hours sleep and ready to drop. Back to Rio to sleep.
Smash Burger for dinner. Just a double, no sides, $10. I never had one before so even though a chain it was new to me. Good burger. 4*

Yeah, Smash Burger is pretty good. It's even a bit better when you're paying the non-gouged price of $7+tax for a double. ;)

And the Smash Burger near the South Outlet Mall was the first time I had one of my favorite beers made in Vegas.

Joseph James Hop Box (9.3%; currently 8.2%; 4.25 sips).

Also one of the very few beers I've paid for in Vegas. Was $3.50+tax (5 years ago). Worth every penny.

So, slept through evening Pride events downtown but made it to one I really wanted to get to... Bears Roam the Ranch. This is taking place at the FunHog Ranch bar on Twain. It is packed! A lot of leather queens, too.
I may not know iPads that don't pertain to me, but I do know gay lingo. For the uninitiated, a Bear is a hairy guy. Usually beefy, more often fat than muscle, but beefy. If you're thin and hairy you're referred to as an Otter.
Tonight's meet is for Bears and their admirers. I'm a Bear but I like Otters. [emoji6][IMG]

Bars are such teases. For $15 I ended up here at Hawk's...a sure thing. Fun playground, but still 1/2 the size of the straight playpen, the Green Door, located next door. [IMG][IMG]

I use to know a lot of those guys & use to call-in to the shows a lot. A lot of them are super nice and mean well, but it’s next level creepiness - hard to explain...
