Does anyone have much experience of gambling at the pool casino at Fontainebleau. I know there is Craps and Blackjack. Any information on the limits, the atmosphere, etc would be great. Also are drinks comped there? Is smoking allowed there?

I played craps there and have sat around that area. I assume you're asking about the minimums, not limits. At craps, it was $25 when I joined the table. But I also saw some people at the other side betting $15 on the line, so maybe I arrived right after an increase. The BJ tables I looked at were $25. You are right next to the bar, so there were plenty of servers nearby and lots of players getting drinks. I did not get one, so no idea if its comped. There is a free water cooler at the end of the bar that I was drinking from because it was crazy hot the day I played there. Not sure what to say about the atmosphere other than its the kind of atmosphere you would expect at a busy, but not crazy pool

  • How many freaking shopping events can I go to???
I played a little BJ at FB during my stay there. I was able to play for $15, pays 6:5, on a Friday morning. When I returned on Sunday, there were both $15 and $25 tables at both games, so it may vary based on how busy the table is. I wouldn't say that the area was super busy, but it's right next to a bar.

I did get a comped drink while playing craps (just a basic cocktail, not sure if they’ll comp the “pool drinks” on the menu.

It was cool in the shade under the fans/misters.

We played right when they opened, Craps minimum was $15. I think BJ started at $15 and quickly went to $25.

Craps crew was fun. We didn’t roll particularly well so our time was short but I would do it again.

Not sure if the pit/all games are open every day. Was there on I think a Tuesday and craps was closed but did open on Wednesday at noon. I know last year the pool casino closed for the season in October sometime.

Played here a couple times during my trip last year, great dealers and nice atmosphere with great service too

Blackjack is normally 15 to 25 minimum depending on how busy it is. They do comp all the pool drinks (I love the frozen mojitos). I like the atmosphere, getting to gamble and be outside is a win and the roof and misters definitely make it bearable in Vegas. Dealers and pit bosses tend to be pretty friendly (more than inside in my opinion).

I played craps there on a Saturday afternoon a few weeks back (got there at around 3pm). Table minimums were $25 and it had favorable rules as far as I can tell (e.g. 3x pay on 12 for the field bet). Table was decently crowded but there were always at least a few slots open.

Great atmosphere, they pump in the music from LIV dayclub next door so I got to hear john summit live(ish) while hitting the craps table. They seemed to comp drinks pretty freely, $5 tips got a server checking on me every 10-15 minutes or so (I was sucking down frozen strawberry daiquiris). Table was a little bouncy (dice flew off the table maybe 4 times over an hour and half session) and dealers were friendly and seem to know what they were doing.

Honestly 10/10 probably the best environment for a craps table in Vegas. I'm definitely going to try to bring my parents back out there next time I'm in town. I will say I'm not sure how they handle pool entry.. a security guard I talked to mentioned there might be a day entry free for non guests but I think ymmv. I just walked into the pool area confidently and no one seemed to mind.

Only downside is I had to walk back downstairs to the casino cage to cash out my chips. They told me down there that there should be a cage near the pool somewhere but I wasn't able to find it.

My experience was similar to others. I played craps at the Fontainebleau pool on Sunday. I didn’t catch the BJ table limits but I assume it was $25. The craps table was $15. The BJ tables opened first. I don’t think the crap table opened until at least noon. Drinks were comped and service came around VERY often. My screwdriver was huge! Dealers were great! The only negative was that you have to take chips back down to the main cage on the casino floor. This is a very tiny minor thing and I did not mind.

There is no smoking anywhere out at the Fontainebleau pool.

Overall I loved FB and our pool experience there!

Always bet the #assline!!!

I've always meant to do this but always forget. Definitely checking out the craps table this weekend.

Good to know about atmosphere and drinks, not sure if they will still be open next time I'm there but wouldn't mind checking it out sometime.

I'm fairly certain if you tell them you're going out to gamble they basically have to let you out without a day pass or paying for entry, no ifs ands or buts.
**I could be wrong on this so someone who does know please verify\correct me**

Thanks for all the replies everyone - I am pretty excited to play here now when I am staying there next week. $15 Craps will feel like a bargain and MrsMacAttack will happily sit by the pool. The fact they comp the pool drinks menu means they will be in effect paying me to play Craps. ....... the photos look great and happy to hear about good crews as that is what makes the experience for me........

@MacAttack - since you will be there with MrsMacAttack, my wife hit the pool for three straight days over a very busy fight weekend, and never failed to find a pair of loungers available. There are also plenty of umbrellas. Service was attentive and the food and drinks were great. The trade-off is that everything is really expensive, which we were prepared for.

Overall an A+ pool experience in Vegas.

Looking forward to BJ at the pool next week. Does anyone know if they offer double deck, 3:2?
I might be wishing for too much. :woohoo:
I am almost certain they do NOT offer that at the pool. I played some double deck 3:2 in the HL room at $100 minimum.

I *think* the games at the pool may have been 6:5 but I cannot remember.

That game is only offered in the high limit and, even then, it was recently downgraded to H17. You're not finding that game at the pool

Thanks for the replies.
Surprised to see double deck 3:2 $25 and $50 tables at El Cortez today.

Better minimums than I would've thought. Think the CP poolside BJ tables were all $50 last time I was there.

No “good” rules but I think the atmosphere more thank makes up for it. I’ll definitely play some $25 6:5 if I’m getting the legit pool drinks comped. Add in the good tunes from LIV and friendly dealers and it’s a great place to spend some time (and money)

No craps open at the pool this weekend. Only blackjack. fb is very busy so not great. Pit apologetic.
