Gaggles vs The Big Easy LIVE April 14-17

Casino!!! It may shock you to know I never gambled a nickel. Probably because there was no video poker to be found. $5 tables and craps.

 

This was the best of the three hotels we stayed in. Best by far. Rincon Beach Resort. Great pool.

 

Because Rincon was so close, we went here again because it is so cool and a refreshing swim.

 

Flying into Ft Lauderdale from NOLA for my connection

 

Mofongo is good. with, shrimp or pork.

We hope you enjoyed the ride and hope all the pics were not excessive or too repetitive. I assume that just because I love vacation pictures thst the rest of you do as well.

And if any of my fellow Canucks were wondering. the border crossing went off without a hitch. Supervised self testing for Covid with ANOTHER version of the swan. This one demanded 15 second scrub of each nostril. I hdbe literally had FIVE different versions of the PCR test in last 3 months. How can the exact same test have so many variances and interpretations??? My FOURTH Covid test in 16 days came back negative just as an FYI.

 

And because this one was so funny...we came landed in Missoula Montana to come home. A pic or two from a couple bars we stopped at. the one pic of the menu was the ENTIRE food menu at the first bar. Ummm...we went with the burger. Other pic is MENS Room entrance. And of course...I played my favourite Montana vp game Dueces Wild Joker Poker. Lost $40.....

Great trip & beautiful pictures! I think the old forts would be so cool to explore & I’ll never see Puerto Rico so it was wonderful to see thru your eyes - it looked like a great time.

Thank you Gaggles for this trip report. I'm planning a first time trip to San Juan next year...especially love the old forts. On a whim I searched VMB to see if anyone has been recently. This looks like a place I would immensely enjoy. Your photos are gorgeous!
