Last night was not the start of a comeback. The quads I hit at Ceasers were almost the only ones of the night.

The good old Royale did not pay but the bartender abused us with alcohol. We stumbled over the the Mirage for some triple play spin poker and I had some quads on that but nothing prevented the eventual re-buy.

I did hit a nice hand on Mississippi Stud by finally hitting a straight draw but those profits when I left the game were eaten up by a cold craps table. Damn craps this trip. Killing me. I have resorted to some carny slots and almost hit a reel slot for $10 000. If one more double jackpot reel would have fallen this would be a much more jovial update.

The only food eaten today was Mirage buffet and it was not as good as the past. Two more nights to get this train wreck cleaned up. I tried to play some poker today to stop the bleeding but the lists everywhere were huge. Venetian 1/2 list was 20 deep. Even Ceasers, which has a lousy poker room, was backed up deep so no cards yet for me. This could be the reason thigns are going downhill. That or booze!

There were more rated R shenanigans with pictures but I don't think those will materialize. Once again this is Gaggles with your Diamond Lounge update.

FYI, the Go Pool entry is free for Diamond/7 Star & ladies. I confirmed this with Flamingo via Twitter since their website doesn't state this as fact anymore.

couple questions for Gaggles---is July 4th Flamingo also? and what would you pick between Paris Premier Room (not red) and Paris Red Luxury or Go Luxury with view?

I couldn't remember if you guys were staying at Bally's or Flamingo. If its Flamingo I'll stick with Go, if its Bally's I think I'll go Paris Red Luxury.

nice trip nonetheless. I had a blast during my short stint. can't wait to see those pics, especially that self-designated buffet I created at Outback. I was leaning away from July but I was able to fit it in despite having to reschedule. The extra day of work on Friday pushed my flight to 6pm but also pushes another large into the coffers. Is it Flamingo again or what?

It is the Flamingo again. I don't have an excuse at this point to try and scam a Mini Suite or a Go Room. At check in last time she said the hotel was over 100% capacity.

So here goes a quick update although we are long from live anymore. I also have to stumble over to the neighbours house for a bday party that promises to bring back bad memories for my liver.

Day 5 and 6 are blurring together for obvious reasons. We started one night at Ceasers and then moved to the Bellagio for bart tops and .25 and .50 progressives but alas...it was not meant to be. I did discover a new drink that may change my life forever. It is called Slow Gin or Sloe Gin, I am not sure. All I do know is that if you mix this with cranberry and OJ you have a delicious, tasty combo of no good!

I think we went to NYNY and things really lit up from there. We hit the bar tops and things were going well until two horrible events. One: I bonded with a guy as soon as I got there who was ordering shots of Petron. Ya. You know how this one ended.... WTF was I thinking?

The result of that was more immediate than the morning hangover. I was dealt quad 3's and thought I held them all. Well I only held 2 and the rest of the deal was 2/3. Instead of $200 I won 3.75. I despaired for two days. Thsi was the start of a real spiral.

Not to be outdone, my gf insisted she was not too drunk to do a cartwheel in her heels in the middle of the NYNY casino after I double dared her. Well, I grab the camera as she takes a few steps back and yup...she does it and I get the picture of her in mid air. Her leg is still sore and she may have to go to the doctor but..as she says..."What do ya do when you are double dared?"

To add to the list of poor choices we attempted to enter City Center and get to Aria for some craps. We flat out got lost and were deep in the recesses of the property with no one in sight. This was beginning to look like a scene from a low rent horror movie so we found our way back to the strip and eventually called it a night.

The next day started out okay as I logged in a winning session at the Ceasers poker room when my FH edged another guys FH. I flopped trips he flopped 2 pair. Felted him and that was the start of a nice run of top ten hands that only got busted once.

Good promo at Ceasers. Every hand you win for the day gets you a button that you can exchange for a draw ticket. These go in the barrel and there is a draw at 6. Five draws of $1000 each. No strings attached. That is a kick ass promo if you ask me. Will make me return to what I previously felt was a lousy poker room.

But my poker winnings were soon cut into by the Vegas law of averages. One quads all day. This was followed by my only winning craps session at the grind joint known as the Royale. A whopping $75 but I was locking ina wind damn it!

Once again a shout out to the wretched, grumpy dealers at the Royale. I was right of the hook and this guy would never stop griping about not getting toked. It was driving me and as a point of fact I did not tip while in the game cuz the guy was such an ass. There was one heavy action guy at the table taking $100-200 odds and the rest of us were double/quad odds at best. I toked the dealers as I left but all I could think of was what an asshole and he is costing your crew tips. I wish I would have got his name.

This night saw more NYNY, Bellagio, and a trip to Aria and even Monte Carlo. I know we were drunk when McDonalds at the MC tasted as good as anything I have every had. MC was busier than I thought it would be but still nothing crazy. Had been years since I had lurched through there.

That is about it for the highlights everyone. Had Harrahs buffet on the way out of town and it sucked rocks. No crab legs......

Quick flight home and dummies that we were, we never did use that huge Jacuzzi tub at Ceasers! Great room though. Six nights comped, food, booze, tips etc. an unpleasant but acceptable loss that saw me lose about 40% of my bank roll. Never again will I do six days! Ever!

If this had been three days I probably could have locked in a winning trip. there was also only one poker session and that cannot happen either as I am a winning poker player (when sober).

So Beejay and I will see you in July. I may also get a trip in between then and my next booked trip Sep 22-25.

I have a friend named Bonzo there right now and he has won on every craps session so far. How I hate him.

yes I will see you in July. I booked Flamingo Go room but decided to kill that and do Encore instead.

Since I made diamond on that last trip for next year I see zero reason to give those Harrah's cockgobblers any more of my business until next year. Well i am staying at Caesars 6 nights in October and I don't want to get stuck in the classic tower for low playing a flamingo trip.

we will be meeting halfway at casino royale more often than not anyway. I need some decent paytables to overcome the Harrah's jinx. I decided to bring a little more bankroll for July and I want to play it at 6/9 not 5/8. not to mention that low grade dog food they fed us at the Burger Barn or whatever that rat hole was. When we say homeless drunk I didn't realize we were eating homeless shelter quality food. No offense to homeless shelters BTW.:evillaugh

oh hold on don't we say the same stuff before EVERY trip?!?!? lol.

where are those pics from Outback? I am pretty hungry right now and just the picture might be enough to take care of it!

great finish Gaggles, and thanks for the update on the Caesars poker room, although I'm wondering if they'll extend it through WSOP as many shut down there jackpot promotions, but I'll check it out. What days are you heading out in July. I'm out for the 8th-14th.

Outback pics should be posted. good thing you ordered all that seafood before prices went up too high from the oils spill. Those are some classic Vegas pics! That public fellatio shot in front of Ceasers is absolute vintage.

And Beejay....I am bringing three girls with me this time but only one of them has fake bigguns! Another couple that you know with the initial R and T are also meeting us for that weekend. They are in LA for vacation and then coming back to Canuckistan via Vegas.

No good can come from this.

Dare I say Beejay and Gaggles Live TR III????

funny he never came back after this pic.....:evillaugh

Hurley from Lost, dining on double-dose of Dharma Initiative Food:

....and to be honest, a job poorly done, as I barely touched the "ribeye" if that is what you want to call it:

Of course we were using Casino Royale pts at Outback rather than Encore comps at Society Cafe, yet I still had this in mind as what a ribeye could or should be:

These reports are getting me so agitated now, I'm sick of waiting :grrr:

That looks like a mean steak there, I can't wait to get some 5 star dining done again.

I'm running good already now staying Palazzo/Wynn for the 3 weeks as opposed to the Harrahs/PH initially booked.

Only 11 days until 3 weeks of heaven, I might even try to do a semi-live TR. I might have to settle for an update daily I think.
