Gaggles/JR/Vegas-Flamingo-MGM-Paris and a Road Trip Live Sep 4-14


Hubby takes his off every night, me too. A few years ago he was driving me to the airport for a business trip because the weather was bad and I’m a weenie and won’t drive when there’s lightning. Halfway to the airport I looked down and said holy hell, I don’t have my ring on! That’s the first time I’ve gone for more than a day without it in 19 1/2 years. It made me a little crazy when I looked down and didn’t see it.

Single play at Flammy for last 2 hours or so yielded no quads but minimal losses. Now at CP.

We are at Linq bar tops and yes, there is a guy playing a tuba just a few feet away.

And the line up to Omnia is almost to the Ride Share entrance. And they say I’m crazy for being a gambler?

This whole ring debate reminded me of my Circuit Theory professor in college. The first day of class, he told the class that he was shocked by his wedding ring and he's took it off ever since.

I don't regularly wear mine. In fairness, i'm down around 60 pounds since we got married and it has a tendency to fall off. I also work from home and leave the house maybe once a week. I should get it resized.
 
I’m sorry to any who I may have disappointed with my big talk on my last night but the gas tank needle dropped below Empty. I was actually in the room before midnight.

Yesterday I largely treaded water from start to finish. Those aces with kicker at Circa to start the football game kinda gave me some gambling fuel. I managed to stretch that win and my sportsbet wins over the day and night. I think we can all agree that largely even for a full day and half night of gambling is more than fair.

I have a late checkout and just puttering around and getting food.

Guy Fierri no lo get had that all you can eat special that was only $24.99, which was a great deal. Now the big “advertised deal” is $24.99 for two eggs, hash browns, and toast. Wow! How low is the bar when they advertise that as if they were giving away a car??

I’ve got $13 left on my $150 Resort Credit and if you think I’m wasting that, you don’t know me very well. I’m not sure what I’m getting. If I only had $12 more I could get a FIJI water at MGM!

Funny you should mention that. After I woke up around 8:30, I do t think I had an ounce of water until about 5 pm. Though I had more than a few beers, I was quite parched.

My ring often slides off when I’m washing my hands so I have to be pretty careful. I almost lost it down a sink at The Linq last year. It sometimes slides off even if my hands are dry so I gotta be alert.
 
This short rib Mac and cheese has kinda be one my last meal when I am getting out of Vegas. It’s crazy good. And o also have dinner for later cuz it’s a ton of food.

Yeah I joke about it but in that heat and Alcohol and not eating drinking water is key cause it can sneak up on you.
