***A full report will be typed up upon arrival home***
Preface: This trip has been planned for quite some time, started thinking about it and putting things together in Oct 2016. Finally in February I decided it was a 100% go and I bought my tickets and made hotel reservations. Between my real job and driving for Uber/Lyft I have been working seven days a week for about three-four months and so I felt it was time.
This trip coincides with my son's spring break from school. I wanted to bring him along but at the sweet tender age of 16 he decided he did not want to come, he would rather go visit his grandma for the week and take his dog with him, I will be taking him there later on this morning, actually renting a car so I don't have to put the dog in mine, especially since I use mine to transport people.
Budget: I wont post my bankroll pic, its nothing special. I am taking $2000 which is fun money, for gambling or any other entertainment I desire. My credit card will be used for the resort fees and dining. I plan to limit myself to $275 a day but I will have the option to go over that from time to time.
Hotels: First two nights will be at Mandalay Bay (MyVegas) and the last three will be at Harrahs (comp) . I am hoping to score strip view rooms but will not be attempting the $20 trick. Total cost for these rooms are comp plus resort fee and taxes in the amount of $170 roughly.
Transportation: Leaving tomorrow morning on a 620am non-stop to Vegas arriving 750am via Southwest airlines. Return flight is Friday night departing at 510pm and arriving at 1205am again non-stop via Southwest.
Paid for early bird check in and received an A-44, I consider this a loss, I have never had a pass higher than A-27.
If the line is short I will check my bag but if long I will do carry on.
Upon arrival, if I need to go from A to B, I will be using Uber/Lyft, no cabs unless its a surge.
Dining: I have a Myvegas for a Mandalay Bay dinner buffet which I will use on Monday since easter is a blackout day for it. I have yet to decide but I may do Circus Circus steak house, Rolling Smoke BBQ and Wicked Spoon. Last trip I was not happy at Wicked Spoon, it was to exotic for my taste.
Shows: I have a ticket from Myvegas for Zumanity. I have no other shows booked but may look at getting something at Tix4Tonight.
Pics/Video: Mostly will be typical Vegas pics, any wins that are worthwhile and anything else I deem interesting. I highly doubt there will be food porn, I may throw a shot of something in there but I usually do not take photos of my food.
I got my hair cut, mostly brand new clothes packed and am basically just waiting on the time to get here to leave.
Updates will be as frequent as I can, will post plenty of photos. I am only taking my iPhone 7 plus and not my DSLR this trip. In addition, I will not have my computer or any other electronic devices so long typed out updates may not happen, but I will share many photos.
Any questions, comments, feedback or what not during the course of the trip will be appreciated and I will reply to everyone the best I can, if I skip something it is not on purpose.
Hopefully you all enjoy the ride, I will try to make it as entertaining and informative as I can.
