Must be some kind of special to certain people. We are already booked Sept 1-5 from Milwaukee, but after seeing your post, I went and checked. Cheapest flight on SWA website for Sept 1st is $184 pp, one way.

Got an offer code? Never mind. I checked and my fare will expire Sept 9 from using a previous credit. BTW I'm paying $411 RT, but my wife is my companion, so she just costs $15 each way for Early Bird and the Gov fee of $12.50.

I just assumed SWA since they now have 60% of the flights out of Milwaukee. Good luck on Frontier!

I did that Sunday night to Monday night from PIT, $38 rt. I just couldn't resist it. Total last minute trip, had a lower bankroll and a free room at Downtown grand, no way I could say no. My tip for anyone that does a last minute deal like that: don't bother picking a seat. I always do luck of the draw anyway, but this time heading out it was half full. They still charge for seat upgrade though. Coming back was even fewer people and I don't think they charged. Just be the last to board the plane and jump into an empty seat (after the exit row) if there are any.

Also don't check in early if you don't buy your seats. I think you're more likely to be spilt if you check in earlier.

I just wish STL still had a nonstop return that wasn't a redeye. :(

Just wish the flights to and from MKE had better times. That 4am landing is brutal. Had a supervisor who tried to work the next day and we heard a "Thud" and saw her face down on her desk. Lots of Snapchat fun that day.

Wow! I paid $3000 for round trip tickets for two from NY in April to Vegas. I'd love to get a fare like that!

There is no first class at Frontier. :p But you can pay $50 extra a leg for a couple extra inches of leg room or the coveted emergency row. Lol

Lol No! First class but only because economy was only a few $100 cheaper.

It was really that little of a difference?

Drive to Buffalo or Rochester and fly swa? Those are roughly $400-450 each round trip in the month of September right now.

Coach should never be more than $1000 a person. Glad you came out though! ;)

No way would I drive to Buffalo or Rochester.....I like to fly out of my local or at most an hour and 20 minutes to Syracuse. Through Rochester I believe I'd still have a connection too? They were very expensive for economy last trip and a lot of flights were full or we couldn't sit together.

I hate Frontier and although I couldn't get $40 on my available dates I did get $90 ($69/$21). I had to take it, great deal. This won't be much of a Vegas trip, just starting and ending in Vegas, driving to Yosemite in between.

Somewhat comfortable seat...,zero issues...guess Ive been lucky.

Personally I think frontier seats are the worst part of the whole experience. But my back is still in good enough shape to be willing to save triple digits a person. Hope it stays that way!

I concur. I've done the cheap-o MKE/LAS on Frontier, and it is what you make of it. Except those new seats...

I can live with sitting on a park bench for 3+ hours, but that bar running across the bottom of the row of seats prevents a good leg stretch... and my knees start barking at me after half the flight.
